Just go to 20 and do 4, 5 team pods and rotate each year with a different pod. This will get 4 pod winners. BIG does the same. Then we set up playoff system like the NFL with wildcard and pod winners playing for the championship.

Big ten won’t do anything that precludes nd from joining. 20 years is a long time in the new unstable world of college football. Might even drive nd into the arms of the sec.

1. This guy has literally predicted every potential sports scenario possible so that when one of them inevitably happens he looks like he had foreknowledge. He’s a joke.
2. If you are going to 18 with those then you might as well do 3 pods of 6, and go to an 11 game season + 1 rummy. It plus everyone in your pod every year and everyone else every other year.

I would have thought UNC and either UVA or VT, adding Clemson would be surprising, but who knows these days.
I would go back to divisions though, possibly 4 if we ever get to 20 teams.

They might be southern states but I don’t want UNC and their cheating low down dirty asses in our conference.

You could pair up pods yearly & get the SECCG teams:
Y1 - AB winner vrs. CD winner
Y2 - AC winner vrs. BD winner
Y3 - AD winner vrs. BC winner
Y's 4-6: Y's 1-3 with sites flipped
Y1 - AB winner vrs. CD winner
Y2 - AC winner vrs. BD winner
Y3 - AD winner vrs. BC winner
Y's 4-6: Y's 1-3 with sites flipped

Clemson is the only school out of those that gets viewers nationwide. Originally I was on the VA bandwagon, but it's okay if they're not brought. They're really not that strong a school to be super picky about.

If we get Clemson I hope we can trade them for SC as one of our 3 yearly games. No disrespect to the Gamecocks, just Clemson is an older rival and it is generally a good game.
