Wtf u talking about. Pittman tried to retire the year previous and Yuracheck talked him out of it. Yuracheck could have let Pittman walk out respected in Arkansas but made a broke down tired man keep coaching only to fire him the next season.
It’s gets even worse as we would have been the only P4 job open with a better chance at a good coach. Yuracheck is an all time screw up AD that sucked up to the right people to save his job.

Why not tell the school u can play and pay the player but your team doesn’t meet eligibility requirements for participation in the SEC or NCAA basketball tournament, conference football championship game or NCAA football playoff?
I have 2 daughters that did cheer for a multi state champion team in Florida. The school system paid nothing as it was considered a club sport. We had to pay for all uniforms, transportation and fees either by begging for sponsors or out of pocket. 1k is nothing. We wrote a check for that first day and had to write additional checks throughout the year.
