Yep. Moving forward you'll play in everyone's stadium at least 1 time every 4 years. Huge improvement.

While Texas and Oklahoma have reshuffled the hierarchy deck a bit, most within the conference would consider the top half Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Georgia and Florida. The bottom would be Tennessee (in many ways, the Vols are caught between the two), South Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Missouri.

Ouch

LSU needs to be: Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida. Florida is LSU’s only true rival, it’s currently tied 33-33, 4 national titles to 3, 3 Heismans to 2. Great game every year.
A&M: should be Texas, Arkansas, Missouri
Texas: A&M, Oklahoma, Mizzou.
Oklahoma: Texas, Mizzou, Arkansas
Arkansas: Vanderbilt, A&M, Oklahoma
Mizzou: Texas, Oklahoma, A&M

this, it would be criminal not to have OU-Arkansas become a regular game, they are the closest campuses to each other and frankly this game is LONG overdue.

You can’t have historical and local rivals in a conference this big.

How about sorting same-record schools:

A, B, & C are 5-4
A/B share 2 opponents
A/C share 1 opponent
B/C share 0 opponents

As long as we get State and LSU every year, I’m happy

I'm fine with Ole Miss, but in reality most Tiger Fans under 60 don't see Ole Miss as one of our top 3 rivals. I think most would put Bama/UF/Auburn above Ole Miss. Many would also include A&M and/or Arkansas above them.

That SOS is murder for Auburn to play Bama, UGA, and Florida.

They have OU Florida and Kentucky Arkansas. Just swap.

Florida Kentucky annual rivalry

OU Arkansas annual rivalry.

I could live with this, but would rather have Auburn than Ole Miss. Won't happen though.

I don’t understand OK vs Fla. Was that the last puzzle piece that didn’t fit?

Yes. Looks like they want every "Top 8" program to play 2 from the 8.this is the matchup leftover

For starters, he doesn't have UGA as one of SC's 3 perms. I can almost 100% guarantee that UGA/SC will be one

State has not played at Florida since 2010. I did enjoy the victory that year but I would not care to return to Gainesville. Had an enjoyable time but the UF campus is meh. Stadium is okay as well.

At the conclusion, he lays out his first stab at the 3 permanent opponents for each team in a 9-game schedule.

What he laid out was one of the worst attempts I’ve ever seen.

Kentucky gets UGA, Arkansas and Miss State? Wtf is that?

This is the best I’ve seen

this is by far the best.

it would be great to get Auburn/Florida yearly but twice in 4 seasons is better than what it's been since it ended yearly in 2002.

LSU/Bama is lost yearly - I suspect it will only ramp up the already ridiculous intensity with 2 seasons between playing twice.

For Texas A&M, I'd swap in Arkansas in place of Mizzou and have Mizzou play Texas.

Alabama would be a fool to be the only program having 3 historic top 6 SEC programs as their yearly rivals. LSU and UT get away with facing only one. UTn, LSU, AU, hopefully, Bama says NO.
