I take 1 scrip for blood pressure but it’s a low dose. Only other thing I take is Prilosec daily for heartburn.

I agree on it being theft. In Texas property taxes are out of control and it’s not the state that imposes them. It’s your local government. And they have no intention of making lower much less going away. Leeches, all of them.

I bought an exceptional ring for my wife when we got engaged. Like you said to each his own. But for certain things we do we have a system. Both of us have what we call stunt doubles. They are simple silver bands that we both wear when we go someplace that does not require flashy stuff or if there is a chance it may get lost or damaged. She wears her regular ring daily etc. But going to the beach or whatnot we use the stunt doubles.

I just started a new job this week and went through several interviews. Some in person some on zoom. I ended up with several offers and really worked on my interviews.
I dressed appropriately studied up on the company, their clientele, and who I was being interviewed by. I rehearsed possible questions and made sure I was specific in my answers giving examples when needed. I had my wife do a mock interview with me so I was fully prepared. Used AI for possible questions I would be asked. In other words if you want a job you have to work for it. This is the level I had to go through and it paid off greatly.
But most are correct just getting past a retarded HR person is exhausting because they mostly have no idea what to look for in a good candidate they are just checking boxes off your resume.

It’s LSU. How do they rebound. While it’s aggy and they are both coming off of a loss i think LSU has to win to justify Kiffen and staying in the hunt. Everyone has already written off aggy. Overrated as usual. If LSU does not make the playoffs it’s going to be a lot of question marks on the hire. We live in the time of instant gratification. College football is no exception.
