Steroids, sticks of butter, terrible teeth, and ending the season on a 3 game losing streak after almost losing to FAU and Vanderbilt.

But mostly the cheating/roids.

Rants thoughts on McElwain
hes a great coach. In his first year he took a struggling florida to atl without their qb. When he gets his qb back, they will be dangerous. No coach can make Treon Harris good.

Treon could make Saban look Derek Dooleyish in a heartbeat.

How long does McElwain last before UF begins looking for another coach?

... going forward what are the expectations at Florida?

McElwain seems to have the gators trending upwards----can he reach Spurrier & Meyer success levels

You continue to post this but you really have no idea how many are leaving early and of those how many will be missed. Too funny.

not as good as muschamp. Muschamp went 11-1 when the SECE was not the worst division in P5 football.

Looks like more easy wins vs UF as long as McElwain sticks around.

Proves so far that he's no better than Muschamp without a QB

As much as I hate to say it he is a very genuine and likeable coach. Y'all got a good one

I think he is a good coach. Kinda tough to judge what his ceiling is but he definitely exceeded my expectations this year. Still need another couple years to see how does recruiting and how he does in the east. Looking forward to some Kirby vs. Mac battles in JAX.

He saved last year's class by adding Cece Jefferson, Martez Ivey, Antonio Callaway, and Jordan Scarlett very late.

Pulling in UF leans? Not very impressive.

Jury is still out on him. He would have had an ugly year without Muschamp's D.

No chance he would make the team for a Saban coached school. The "process" would take care of this... medical redshirt for stupidity is a thing, right?

Saban would be smart enough to find another qb, or never throw the ball.

Well the only good part of his team this year was the defense. I assume he won't have an all-world defense like that very often. He'll probably make the offense a lot better, though. Next year probably won't tell us a whole lot unless they pull a quarterback out of a hat.

Got extremely lucky this season. Inherited a great defense. Had a good QB until he roided. Pretty much starting over next season likely with all the early entrees.

Call back next season.

My thoughts as well. Wasn't Florida's offense statistically worse this season than it was under Muschamp/Roper?

When's the last time UF didn't have a good defense?

It's easy to get good defensive HS recruits at UF. Collins seems to be fine even after MSU fans said he sucked. Didn't notice many blown calls and/or coverages this year.

Defense isn't going to be an issue at FL. It's all about the offense. He has to fix that within the next two years.

I see the point of this thread but will answer anyway.

I think he is a good coach, but some forget some of the stupid decisions he made in that UT game. I really think that was a springboard for your season.

I am sure he will be good going forward but I certainly don't see him as some elite coach that some are making him out to be.
