It might seem like Saban is #1 because a) this is an LSU board and b) everyone wants Alabama to lose
But in reality, even Auburn fans don't despise Saban like we used to. He's just good, we tip our hat to him, what else can you do. I have no burning dislike for Saban at all. I find Mullen and Kirby far more unlikable.

I had hoped we'd get at least 2 years out of him. He did set the tone for Steele as well as bringing in some key players.

I was in school during the height of the Spurrier days. I didn't hate him either. He was a prick, but there's a difference between thinking somebody is a prick and hating them.

I don't hate Saban. I think we respect him but we hate him beating up on all of our teams. Dan Mullen as a person seems like a twerp. There's a huge difference between the two

Whoops ill admit i read the article I was reading wrong. It was saying Ellis was fired. My apologies.
I do feel like I remember the second stint wasnt as good for him, even if it was 1 year.
Could also be my hate for him stems from the fact our defense was the worst part of his tenure.
When i think of hated coaches I think of coaches that had multiple failed SEC stints, or coaches who say a-hole things because really a majority of us dont hate coaches who win. I have zero hate for Saban (like him actually). I hate Champ, and id think that florida fans would to (though they should be over it).
