So based on this, Cliff Ellis was ok, Lebo was bad, Barbee was horrendous and Bruce is a wizard.

Sad thing about that is, Bama fans can shrug it off because of football king status. For Mizzou fans to look into a mirror and see Alabama in football, we'd have to cut off your face and staple it over ours.
That's one way to look at it but I actually think that Missouri has one of the more respectable football/basketball program combinations in the SEC. Other than Florida which historically probably has the best Big 2 sports history and then LSU, Alabama, and probably Tennessee, Missouri has as good a football/basketball combo historically as any of the rest of the SEC schools.

Likewise, I use to think Georgia fans were just incredibly arrogant and full of themselves and not dumb or hardheaded enough to argue that winning a conference tournament is a lot bigger deal than winning a regular season conference championship. Conference tournament titles are a big deal but finishing with the best record over an 18 game schedule played against 14 teams over 2 months is a greater accomplishment than getting hot over a single 3 or 4 game/day stretch.
