Alvin Lee (Alabama 1988-89) was the most electric player I ever saw on a good night among the non all time greats in SEC play. Just unguardable at times

I know this is not what the OP was wanting but y'all have had some massive bb talents: Bob Petit, Maravich, Jackson, Shaq. Petit and Shaq are probably 2 of the top 15 big men (C and PF) of NBA history. You could make a legit argument that they could form 4/5ths of the SEC All-time team. Of course it would never happen just because selectors would want to spread it out. It's just as remarkable that Bama has a large head to head lead over you. Bama's had some great players but not even one like BP, Shaq or PM. Bama's mostly had just great athletes playing basketball.
(I just looked up a list of the 25 best big men in NBA history: 5 were born in Louisiana: Russell (3), Malone (9), Willis Reed (16), Petit (17), Parrish (25).) Good job Louisiana.

Chris Morris, Auburn
I don't know about the others, but you certainly nailed Sundvold. A point guard who averaged 17.1 points per game as a senior BEFORE the 3 point line came into being. Can't imagine what his average would have been if he played post-'86.
Went on to set the single-season 3 point percentage in the NBA at the time during the 1989 season (52%). I think he's still 4th all time.
Won 4 consecutive Big 8 conference championships with him and Stipanovich. But of course no Final 4s.

Barry Goheen, Vanderbilt, late ‘80s. Could get hot from 3-point range.
And Alex Dillard from the hog’s snout in Barnhill was deadly.

Spreewell and Horry would do well in today's college game.

Sorry doesn’t fit the OP
Alabama won the game, but Grunfeld and King put on a show that day!

The guy buried UGA with 2 or 3 buzzer beaters.

Miller had weight problems. I read the Nolan Richardson book and it described Nolan knocking on doors for a curfew. He went into Miller's room and found something under the bed covers. It was two large pizzas. Miller said it was for a midnight snack. But Nolan grabbed them both and said the team would like some pizza.
When he went to the NBA, he was well over 400 pounds. One game he was no where to be found. Someone found him at the food court eating. His weight problem was bad enough that it ruined his pro career. I believe had he kept his weight problem under control then he would have been one of the best big men of that era.

The Lee Mayberry, Todd Day and Oliver Miller years were what Nolan said his most talented teams. The 94 team did win it all but they never faced UNLV and Duke. Two arguably the best teams in college basketball history.

I can't believe I forgot Jack "Goose" Givens. Scored 27 on Arkansas in the national semi-final in 1978 and then lit up Duke for 41 in the final. That was also a great Arkansas team that year.
Plus Kyle Macy, Truman Claytor and Jay Shidler on that team could at any time erupt from long range. If only they had the three ball then...

For LSU this sounds like a category for Geert Hammink, or Clarence Ceaser.

Bowers was a fine player, but that move he pulled on Shelton at the free throw line was pure chickenshit!

So Devan Downey is an interesting one for me. His defense was incredible. averaging almost 3 steals a game. He would score 30, but also put up 30 shots. He wasnt the best 3 pt shooter, and was a below average FT shooter for a guard. He also averaged less than 5 assists per game for his career. He was a man of the moment though.
