I'm sure a Longhorn will be along to tell everyone that we don't care as much at the Aggies as they care about us.
which is total bullshite. We care every bit as much as they do

Auburn is Bama’s main rival down in LA. Move up to North Alabama and yes, it is Tennessee. I honestly think LSU probably slides into the 2 spot in LA just because of the interactions between them on the coast.

I've grown to hate almost all of you frickers to some degree. The sips generate a sarcastic eyeroll from me (like when your woke, opinionated cousin shows up at Thanksgiving), but LSU makes me want to come over here to an LSU run board and remind you how subpar you are as an institution and as human beings generally. In the SWC and Big 12 days, I hated TT like that. You coonasses are the swamp version of TT for me.

Lived in Lower Alabama most of my life, and have never considered Auburn more of a rival than Tennessee.

This would hold more weight if:
- your school song didn’t reference A&M
- you didn’t light the tower differently for a victory over A&M
- your mascot wasn’t helped named by A&M
- your hand sign wasn’t a derivative of our first hang sign
There’s probably more but I’m going back to watching TV.

Something you may eventually learn is that no one cares what a gang of gheys think.
Especially a pretentious gang of gheys that are consistent underachievers.

Thank goodness they have LSU. TAM has won four of six this decade. Last season they packed LSU’s shite so deep LSU spent $130 million dollar to try to make it stop.

Ole Miss thinks of LSU as a rival much more than LSU thinks of them as a rival. Facts. Kiffin may have changed that now but not in the last 30 years

You're talking about a 15 year window not the totality of football. If totality, it's Ole Miss by a mile.
This is fact. In totality ole miss and lsu have been and will be rivals. Ole miss and state are heated in state rivals but they will take up for each other. I’ve seen it happen a bunch.
LSU and old piss are out of state hated rivals. Always have been.

Not really. LSU looks at Ole Miss something along the lines of Tulane. They hate us and we hate losing to them, but they never beat us enough to merit serious respect.
I know, same can be said for LSU-Bama.
LSU tends to view Auburn, Florida, and to a lesser extent UGA as fiercely competitive, equal matchups, but the hate isn't there.
So in a nutshell, that's why LSU doesn't really have a rival. Teams that hate us dont win enough, and we dont beat the teams we hate enough.

Someone who was actually friends with "top donors" at LSU wouldn't have had this take 3 days prior.

In football, we have no rivals. Instead, we have become.... THEIR HOMECOMING GAME!!!!
In basketball, I want to beat every dang one of you. I baseball, I hope to beat every dang one of you. I football, I pray to beat one of you!!!

LSU doesn't care about Ole Miss, and hasn't for a few decades now. The only ones that have a burning passion about that game are older than me, and I'm not far from 60. LSU wants to win the SEC, something Ole Miss hasn't done in forever. And for the past 20+ years, LSU wants to win the SEC and win the national title.
Alabama, Auburn and Florida have been the big games that everyone circles in the preseason, because those games are against someone standing in our way to those titles. UGA, because that's often who'd we face in Atlanta.
We expect to beat teams like Ole Miss, Miss State, Vandy, etc.

I think it will be a spicy game this year. If Ole Miss were to win then things get interesting.
The focus on campus is aimed at the teams that are better than you generally. Which, when I was going to LSU grad school, meant Florida and Alabama. Although I will say the Auburn series was fricking amazing. As a transplant to Louisiana I didn't realize that the history with Ole Miss was significant. But it was immediately obvious to me that I should care about Florida, Alabama, and Auburn.
LSU's natural rival was originally Tulane. Which is not really a thing anymore.

Alabama says frick LSU when they sing their song. They are a rival whether Gumps wanna admit it or not. Definitely lower than Auburn though.
It's true. I've lived in the state half my life. Auburn is definitely their #1 rival. But all you have to do is peruse this board to see how much they obsess about LSU. They have this thing about denying it though. It's an interesting case study. They give lip service to Tennessee but they really don't care more about them than anyone else, other than maybe some of the gray haired Bama fans.
