When your kids are a little older and are subject to hoodrat violence, maybe you'll wake up to the flaw in your plan. There are two reasons to keep your kids out of those schools: 1) academic issues; and 2) physical safety.

You sniveling, jealous little ****, LSU probably commissions fewer than 10% as many officers as A&M each year. Did you serve or are you just another disrespectful count who thinks every forum is the SEC Rant? A&M commissions more officers than any other university outside the service academies and there is not anybody else close behind them. Neither VMI nor The Citadel commission more officers each year. That doesn't even take into account the number of enrolled students who are serving in the guard and reserve units in the area or the many students pursuing other commissioning routes like OCS.

Its about half correct. The part about moving closer to Russia and wanting to buy Russian gas is true. They want us out of Germany, but they can cynically say that knowing we'd just move eastward into Poland and continue to act as their free shield.

I used to be more enthusiastic about AfD but they would immediately pull away from the US and pull closer to Russia if they were in power. They are not going to be friends of the US even though the US is about the only foreign nation that has stood up for them.

Rice is unrecognizable today. My father got his undergrad degree from Rice when it was just smart white nerds with buzz cuts, all on full scholarships. I got my MBA there in the 90's. Even then, Rice was filled with eccentric but politically balanced kids. Then sometime after 2000 some leftist discovered that WM Rice owned a few slaves in 1860. The whole school panicked, went hard left and uber woke and hid the Rice statue in a corner after it had been the centerpiece of the quad up to that point. Comrade DesRoches sure hates whitey and legacies, but he had no problem using his "privilege" to get his daughter into Rice. He's done a great job at absolutely minimizing the number of white kids on campus (Class of 2029 was 22% white). With just a little more effort, he can probably get the white student population down to the 10-15% range .

Every election the media tries to bullshite a Dem candidate across the finish line but it never works. The polls and the election day results never match. That said, we made things hard on ourselves by picking such a crappy candidate in Paxton. Abbott is an adequate governor with no charisma. Sadly, shallow voters need charisma and undervalue competence.

What's your point? Culturally and politically, the 80's were great. Economically, the latter part of the 80's were pretty rough in Texas. Oil was taking a beating and the biggest real estate crash since the Great Depression had kicked off.

"Worst" can mean multiple things. If you mean an AD with marginal ethics who will hire the slimiest collection of coaches in the conference, that would be the LSU AD.
If you just mean the AD with the least athletic success across the board, I guess you'd look at the folks previously mentioned.
