Dear sir, there is no pride month at Texas A&M. They celebrate it every day.

I would love to go to a Banana’s game. Part clown show, part baseball.

Like an LSU baseball game this year, but less angry.

You almost got through a post without thinking about LSU. Good try.

captdalton is probably the only poster here that can make a Savannah Bananas/Aggie thread about LSU somehow.

**Anyone says anything**

captdalton: "So here's another thing about LSU."

It's harmless fun so I'm not one of those avid "they're ruining baseball!" people, but I just don't see the appeal. Certainly not to the level of engagement they pull. I watched a stream of one of their games on YouTube and it just didn't hold me.

I was in a Mexican restaurant tonight with my wife and grown children (and spouses). And this came on the screen over my wife’s head. I wondered what the heck I was watching. They filled that stadium up for this. Perhaps someone can explain this event to me?

By the way they all ate dinner with me because I paid. It’s how I get them to eat with me.

A part of me is afraid this might not be a joke.

Why?

Savannah Bananas players trade the ballpark for a night of worship in College Station

quote:

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - While thousands of fans counted down the hours until Saturday’s sold-out Savannah Bananas game at Kyle Field, a group of players spent their Friday night doing something a little different — bringing their faith to the Brazos Valley.

Savannah Bananas player Coach RAC, along with several teammates and players from the Texas Tailgaters, hosted a free community worship night at Central Church in College Station on Friday as part of their traveling faith movement, Sandlot Revival.

Why? You don’t believe they could be Christians?

Now that I've read the story behind the link, I have no problem with it.

The phrasing of "Banana Ball church service" caught me off guard.

I don’t understand the point of this thread. Try posting something that grown men would enjoy.

It is pretty unbelievable to me just how popular these guys are. And I see the value, as I was a big Harlem Globetrotters fans growing up. But the way they are selling tickets is quite astonishing.

No hate at all as it is good fun, just surprising how hard it is to get a ticket.
