I remember when Mark Fox's father passed away on the day Georgia came to Columbia. Georgia won a tough game that day. Just before the end of the game, he broke down. His assistants were consoling him.
On that day, I was happy to see Georgia win. Some things, actually many things, are bigger than sport.
Kirby is a tough coach and a good man. I pray that peace comes over his family during this difficult time.

Thoughts and prayers to Coach Smart and his family. I can’t imagine going through that with all of his other responsibilities preparing and playing in the CFP. It takes a strong person to do it, for sure.

Seems like the surgery's more dangerous than the injury a lot of times for the elderly. Hate that for the Smart family.
