The rural south is great. The people are really nice and friendly. The food is wonderful, lots of barbecue, fried chicken, sweet tea. Winters are much milder than in Nebraska.

We got the coach who is the best fit for our program. I have seen the interviews for both Sumrall and Golesh and believe that Auburn made the right hire.
I think Golesh is a better fit for our program
He has a decent paycheck. I don't envy him having to live in Tuscaloosa but he makes enough to buy plenty of potpourri and air freshener.

The first 3 games are winnable. I think we also can beat Arkansas. Vandy without Pavia may be an easier game to win. Florida at JHS may not be too bad. I feel better about playing Ole Miss now that Kiffin is gone. Jeff Lebby has improved Mississippi State but they are not a powerhouse. We will struggle with Georgia, Alabama, and LSU.
It is better to be pissed off than pissed on.

If he crashes and burns at LSU, he can get a job with the Jets. Losing doesn't seem to bother them.

Are you happy with the coach your school hired? Why or why not?
He is not the only SEC coach who has had a drinking problem, in all fairness
re: For the Kiffin haters what exactly should he have done different?

Did I watch? Yes. Did I believe what he said? Hell no.

He will leave us in a heartbeat.
That is a given. The question is whether or not he decimates your roster on the way out.
I'm cautiously optimistic. He seems to really want to be at Auburn and has a reasonable plan to turn things around.

Should have been enacted a long time ago
Wait until Kalen DeBoer quits or gets fired at Alabama and see what Lane does to LSU.
I hope he stays. Our defense has been great with Durkin as DC.

Ole Miss should have learned from watching what Kiffin did to Tennessee. He might be on the wagon but there is no cure for being a jackass.
He turned the ship around at South Florida. They tried to keep him.
