I see 20 year olds whose parents drive them around. A guy came in to interview for a teaching job. He was accompanied by his mother who had driven him there.

Exactly. I have worked with children who had severe disabilities. They could not walk, talk, feed themselves, or use the toilet but their capacity to give and receive love was immense. When traveling in Europe I didn't see any children in similar circumstances and learned that most people with serious disabilities are euthanized there. I don't think a person's right to live should be determined by their perceived usefulness.
