Chicken needs to start a Lane Kiffin Rant so everyone can melt in one place.

SEC Rant is nothing but Kiffin melts.

Who would sue

LSU can file a contempt-of-court motion over the SEC refusing to follow an injunction, while the NFL can sue LSU for tortious interference of their contractual rights.

Wright and Harris could be the plaintiffs and LSU as the defendant if LSU refuses to honor any agreement with the plaintiffs when they were talked into going back to college.

Against LSU? So what? Does not help them play this season.

They have zero standing to sue the SEC over its enforcement of its own internal rules and procedures. I guess they can try. It won't work. And venue against the SEC ain't going to be in front of Judge Cletus Fan Boy in a Baton Rouge court. More likely to be in a federal court in Atlanta. Good luck with that. It's been tried before. Brown player tried to sue the Ivy League under a similar theory and lost. Federal judges are not going to be blatant college football fanboys like a local hick judge in Baton Rouge.

So LSU, who is not a party to the lawsuit where the TRO is issued is going to sue another nonparty to that lawsuit in that lawsuit for a procedural rule LSU voted in favor of? What color is the sky in your world?

Nope, it wouldn't, but would help their bank account if they could successfully argue that LSU breaking any agreement harms their potential future earnings.

About time someone grew a fricking spine. Without LSU, Sankey would still be weak as water.

Lane forced his hand!

What future earnings? They got cut from a NFL team because they were not good enough. And 31 other NFL teams with robust scouting departments chose not to sign them off of waivers.

I am not sure I would be wasting my time bringing that case. And I doubt any decent plaintiff's lawyer would bother with it, unless they just like wasting their time and money. Maybe they can find a bottom feeder with nothing better to do.

Who would have thought that LSU being clowns would bring the whole CFB world together. Good work SEC

They saw all the attention Texas Tech was getting this summer and predictably got jealous.

Texas has not won national championship in 20 years. You’re on Texas A&M’s level until you do.

The biggest problem with all of this is Sankey not doing shite besides writing a letter when bama basketball was playing a former NBA player last season.

Why, the court has no legal authority to intervene in rules SEC creates. The rules do not violate any federal law, which is what is relevant since the SEC spans states.

If that’s the precedent great but that just tells me that the SEC could have prevented all of this five years ago, but didn’t. The SEC suits have let it get to this point out of greed and sacrificed the sports integrity until it got so bad it made them look like shite.

I dunno if I should be surprised but it’s a little jarring so many lsu fans are actually trying to defend it. Stop ruining the sport even more

Buddy must’ve forgot they were the ring leaders of this whole thing lmao.

I’m not defending it at all. If it was up to me the NCAA would have absolute authority with immunity from legal challenge. All this has gone too far. But was it against the rules? Absolutely not.

Oh the pearl clutching! What is funny is you guys think we are screwed when we have NOT played any ineligible players. You should be thanking Lane, look at how much has gotten done over the last 24 hours.
