Sumrall... another podunk hire !!

Golding a cheap desperation hire. No one even blinks if they fire him next year.

Tell me you don’t follow Auburn without saying so. Our roster is there.

Golding would be the betting favorite.

You haven’t had a qb since Nick Marshall left.

silverfield
hog fans already pissed, and want their AD fired. New AD will want his guy down the road.

Golding easily . He is just there till they find their actual head coach. Ole Miss also doesn’t have to worry about paying 2 coaches not working for the program if they fired him early .
Totally agree, the AD basically didn't want to take a spin on the craziest carousel ever and decided to punt a season or two
Gets to see if Golding has real potential at HC for a discount, not piss off the entire team, and see what he's left with. Honestly a prudent move this cycle.

Not Arkansas. We give our coaches an additional two years after they should be let go.*

Kiffin will get fired for sexual misconduct.

Jarrett Stidham is still in the NFL. USC has Rattler?

Golding. He is a stopgap like Arnett was at MSU to try to and keep a team together, in this case a playoff team. It’s not a good year to go coach searching so theyll use him a year or two and if he fails go find a real coach

Lol sure thing, you misspelled Hendon Hooker not Alex Golesh

I would say Silverfield, but I'm not sure the razorback fans care any more at this point.

And Marshall was a cornerback playing QB.

Sumrall. It will be John Sumrall.
Which sucks. Because many of us really wanted him at Kentucky.

Normal hires will get the usual 2-3 year benefit of the doubt. Given the circumstances around Pete's promotion he may only get 1-2. He's also got the biggest shoes to fill of the bunch so it would seem he would be the easy pick
It would take some sort of Chad Morris or Bryan Harsin level disaster to get one of the others canned that soon.
Ranked from most to least likely to go first:
1. Golding
2. Silverfield
3. Sumrall
4. Golesh
5. Kiffin
I think Sumrall and Golesh will both do well fwiw. Silverfield has absolutely no shot to succeed through no fault of his own. Golding might actually do ok at keeping Ole Miss competitive and outlast a few of the other guys but like I said, he's easily most likely to go first given circumstances.

So we'll take that as a no?
Would you consider that the exception or the rule?
