If he can survive having his first loss on the main roster being to Sami Zayn he can survive a DQ or regular loss to AJ Styles.

And I doubt Styles contract is legitimately up in February. They extended contracts all the time due to injury time and AJ has had significant amount of injury time the last 3 or so years.
