The state of Oklahoma would add little in the way of profits to the SEC. We need schools from populous states like North Carolina or Virginia. Expansion is about expanding our footprint into places with lots of TV sets.

FIFY.

Texas will never run shite again. You LSU bitches might bend over for that shite, but no other school in the country would, except for the weak ones that are contractually obligated.

I thought everybody praised the B12 for an honest round-robin schedule.

How do they ruin it if they don’t run it in some fashion?

I'd rather trade Mizzou for West Virginia - at least West Virginia would be fun trip. Mountaineers got personality; personality goes a long way.

I have great respect for OU as football program and as a institution of learning in general but I am not in favor of this because I think having a strong Big 12 Conference provides more benefit overall.

I also think OU is better off in the Big 12 in terms of playoff potential. For instance this season, if OU wins the Big 12 Championship, then there is a good chance they will make the playoffs along with the SECC, Big 10 champ and the ACC champ.

this. If you want to bring in Texas, then lets put Louisville, Florida State, Georgia Tech, and Clemson up for a vote too.

Not necessarily. OU has a huge following in Texas as well. In addition you add OU and Kansas and you are adding a national brand in football and a national brand in Basketball. It’s not always about TV sets. National brands are also highly desirable.

Personally, I think 12 teams is the perfect size for a conference.

A 4 year player would get to play every team in the other division before he graduates.

In a 14 team or bigger conference, some teams are played so rarely they might as well not even be in the conference.

I know bigger conferences get bigger paychecks from TV networks, but I still don't think it's an improvement.

This only because of the need for divisions to have a championship game. A 16 team pod schedule still plays a home and home schedule with every team in the league over a 4 year period. You play every team in conference over a two year period.

Boot Missouri and bring them in.

Put them in the East. I don't want to hear LSU fans whining, "but we have to play Florida and Oklahoma every year".

Oklahoma is a blueblood. I would trade them for Aggy today if possible. Move Barn to the east. LSU, Oklahoma and Bama in the west. That would be outstanding.

Aggy and Texas should form their own 2 team conference and argue about which school has more money.

You are so dumb. What did you think I meant?

It’s funny you say LSU would bend over for that.... while you and Aggie have a pitcher and catcher relationship as it is and you have no problem with it. Before you post, try thinking first. Otherwise you’ll look as stupid as you do right now.
