I'd personally welcome OU and Texas to the conference.
Would add tremendously in both football and to a lesser degree basketball.

OU I would welcome. Lock the door on Texas. Talk to some B12 insiders about how Texas killed the SWC and the B12. Those schools all left for a reason, and the reason is Texas.

Texas would run the sec in no time. The main offices would be moved to Dallas or Houston, and the sec championship would be at Jerry’s world. Bama wouldn’t even have time to counter strike before it happened.

The problem there is that Texas was allowed to get away with shite.
Mandates would be set and the conference would make decisions, each getting a vote. If Texas would be willing to join under these circumstances (which they very well may not), the conference would become stronger with them.

You know what I mean. They will control every aspect of the sec and make it Texas plus the rest. They did it to the swc, they did it to the big 12, and they’ll do it to the sec.
