We lost our OC, DC, Strength Coach, QB, RB, and most of our WR and TE production. We also lost our LBs and best player on DL.

We had nice leads against bama and LSU. Sucks that we blew those games but its different for Ole Miss to be “mad” about 8-4 considering what we lost. We return a ton of experience next season. Kiffin has us going in the right direction for sure and with how much we raised in NIL the past month I think we will be really good next year

This. Can’t really blame Ole Miss for people overrating them. Did better than many people expected considering what they loss. Kiffin did a pretty impressive job this year in my honest opinion.

You had me until you said you had a nice lead on LSU , my goodness they pasted you 45-3 after the first quarter. That was embarrassing.

We lost a ton from last year’s team. Before the season we knew the schedule would be easy to start but it ended up being more so than we planned. I thought we would be lucky for 9-3, 8-4 being decent and 7-5 being probable.

It was a difficult circumstance to be 7-0 when you had watched all the games and knew that we had so many holes and had not played a complete game. Many of us kept hoping the team full of transfers would find themselves and gel, but it is what it is and we ended up about like we should have with some disappointments but also not anything which reasonably was not expected.

This might seem like an after the fact cope but it is an honest take. Basically a lot of us were torn with showing much excitement over the undefeated start, but just tried to enjoy the ride as best as we could. On paper we should be much better next season, but the schedule will be much harder.

Come on now, Auburn and Ole Miss aren’t on the same level, everyone knows this.

It’s one of the reasons Kiffin was desperate to leave.

So which fantasy are we playing out here? Is it that Kiffin desperately wanted Auburn but Auburn said no? Explaining this will help me know what my next post should say.

Hey OM fans….teams lose players every year. It’s called eligibility/NFL draft. Your schedule was as soft as baby shite this year and you fell apart when you played decent teams down the stretch.

By the way, go look at your schedule next year. If Kiffin can win 8 games next year, it will be a success.

Kiffin's always desperate to leave everywhere after 3 years.

And there are differences between Ole Miss and Auburn. Some good - some bad.

Auburn has more resources, more recent title, etc.

But coaches do see what Harisin was put through and some want absolutely none of that.

Having as rabid of a fan base as Auburn can cut both ways.

And that's not even getting into some of the other major booster concerns.

I thought the losses to Arkansas and Miss State were more about coaching than talent.

You were clearly out coached in both games.

“ As an Auburn fan watching Kiffin, each week was getting harder to get excited for the potential hire.

Same with Freeze. He looked good against Arkansas then bombed these last 2 weeks in easy games.”

Well, they were your top two choices, so what are you going to do now?

And choices 3 and 4 chose Nebraska and Wisconsin. Let's see if Choice 5 chooses Colorado too...

I think Auburn dodged a bullet and Ole Miss will regret locking him into an expensive deal.

Nothing I can do. I'll support whoever is hired. Hopefully it's done this week.

We were up 17-3, and still up 3 at halftime. We were driving to retake the lead in the 3rd quarter but threw an INT in the endzone then fell apart. Yes we got beat handily but to act like we didn’t blow that lead is ignoring reality.

Ole miss lost seven of their top eight tacklers and 86 percent of offensive production. (Only person that returned was Minho)

I’ll take 8-4 in a rebuilding year all day
