I was a little surprised too. I guess Vegas anticipates an emotional hangover and the Swamp is a tough place to play.

When you left your other jobs, was it just before finishing the most important project your employer has ever had, after being paid $10 million to do that project, a pay package which was the very top of the industry? Did you move to your biggest competitor and divulge company secrets, try to hire the entire management team as well as the top performing employees? Did you hold an interview with the media, designed to destroy your former employer with accusations of racism?

This board cracks me up!

A. Oxford and Ole Miss get officers from other police forces for every game. It’s a town of 15K people that swells to 80K or more.
B. It’s an emotional game at night. If they don’t get extra help, then IF there is a problem, they would get blamed for not beefing up the force.
C. There could quite possibly be people showing up in Oxford, that aren’t really fans of either school, looking for trouble. Just a few bad actors could make things ugly.
D. When Tennessee fans started tossing stuff on the field, it was not aimed at Kiffin. It was because of calls by the refs that they thought were bad calls. Yes, they were in a lather because Kiffin was there, but the littering of the field was not directed toward Kiffin.

Yes, and she has enough sense to know what’s a joke and what’s reality. She is confident, grounded and intelligent. She doesn’t go around looking for “triggers” that aren’t there.
