Intentionally done as close to fall camp as possible.

Ole Miss couldn't be more obvious with their frivolous bs

If the timeline Ole Miss spelled out there is factual then this is not intentionally timed. In fact it looks like good faith attempts were made.

Are we not going to get the contract language?

LSU is correct that they aren’t a party to said contract so they have zero obligation to pay anything.

Sounds like LSU isn’t the defendant in either lawsuit

If tired in Mississippi it's a W. If in Louisiana it's an L. Thats the state of "college" football.

The lawsuit was filed in Lafayette Co (where Oxford is).

The lawsuits are being heard by different judges. Both are Ole Miss Law graduates

Not sure why any player would think they can sign a contract with a 6 digit buyout and just walk away without paying the buyout.

I bet every admin/coach in CFB (save LSU in this case... but maybe kind of a little) are hoping Ole Miss wins and a message is sent.

Schools have been winning these lawsuits, so they’ll get their money back. Most new schools are paying for the players. Why isn’t LSU?

At the same time it sounds like Ole Miss is owed money and one million is still one million.
