No one cares about bowls outside of playoff. College football did this to itself. College football as a whole is a shell of its former self.

Kansas State and Iowa State are being fined by the Big12 for opting out of bowl games.
However, this is different from Notre Dame. Recent coaching changes likely affected their ability to field a competitive teams.

Bowl game will be regulated for the mid major conferences and then will eventually die. With player opt outs and more and more team opt outs the product isn’t going to sell.
Just expand the playoffs and do away with bowls.

No one, I mean no one should schedule ND in the regular season going forward. They are hot garbage for pulling this shite. We've seen a lot of quitters and crybaby's over the years but this is a new level. You agreed to the system. Some would say the system is even rigged in your favor, and then you fall on the floor and kick and scream like a little baby when you fall short.

I understand why they're mad. The committee lied to them, even though the final rankings are correct. The final rankings were what I predicted and what they should've been, and the committee had the correct final rankings. However, they lied the last few weeks. Miami should've been ahead of ND the entire time, but they told ND that they were superior to Miami. They told ND that they were "close" with Bama, and after a blowout SECCG loss, Bama stays put and ND drops.
