Khumbu Icefall sounds like a lovely resort.

If you can earn more in the market than you’re paying in interest you’re winning. Plus appreciation plus interest write-off.
Don’t really understand the portnoy hate. Regular loudmouth dude built a multi-million dollar sports / entertainment empire. Far left hates him. Far right hates him. He has helped a lot of people in a lot of ways through his businesses. Raised tons of money for dead cops and firemen. Raised tons of money for small businesses during covid.
He’s loud but doesn’t really deserve the hate.

Turkey sucks. I’ll grill a beef tenderloin.
The math works out to shareholders getting a 550% return (after dilution) if the goals are met.
Entirely performance based. No salary. This is exactly how we want to pay our coaches.

Scale is pretty important. This image makes it seem like something entering the atmosphere would be lucky NOT to hit something on the way in.
In reality, the incoming object would have a much higher chance of winning the lottery than hitting a piece of space junk on the way in.

I’m sold. Final four incoming.
Don’t even need to see conference play!

Pretty sure if I got caught smoking meth in my office I’d be unemployed before I was off my high.

After this season his teams will have finished in the top 12 four of the last 5 years.

Woodward just extended Ed O which was an even dumber move.
Dumb take. You win a natty you get an extension. Thems the rules.
I don’t know what this means. Are you arguing that we should settle for 25th, or 8th in the conference? There are people willing to pay a lot of money to not settle for mediocrity and you’re saying, hey pal, save your money so we can maybe be less mediocre in the future.

I want LSU to be able to afford NIL, and a good coaching staff.
I want a good coaching staff so I want the money guys to keep my bad coaching staff for the next 3-6 years so the money guys can afford good coaching staff!
I guess that’s fair but season ticket prices were going up before there was any consideration of paying Kelly to walk.
It’s funny how every post about money says “our” or “us” as if everyone is wiring money to the buy-out fund as we speak.
Everybody is so concerned about money that isn’t theirs. “We can’t afford to buy out Kelly.” Doing this or that might “save us” some some of money. Who cares what it costs? If it would have cost $200 million to buy out Kelly I’d be perfectly fine with that. It’s not my money.
There are a handful of powerbrokers arranging this and they can always find the money.

You don’t accidentally throw for 4,500 yards. Last year’s line with NFL linemen underperformed because of coaching/scheme or lack thereof. This year’s less talented and less experienced line, unsurprisingly, is underperforming for the same reasons. Nuss was undoubtedly hurt earlier in the season. Even considering the pile of shite around him Nuss has made bad decisions and underperformed.
I think when healthy with a good system around him he might be OK. Someone will draft him and he might get a chance. We’ll see.
Our offense was a grab-bag of plays. No strategy, no sequencing, just a plays pulled from a hat with no protection and no running. He never had a chance this year.
