AI doesn't have 'bad days' or 'off days' and has demonstrated it has equal or higher sensitivity than humans and is extremely good at spotting tiny abnormalities
Human Radiologists do better in edge cases and rare diseases or the plain 'that looks off' even if they can't articulate why
Hospitals would be stupid not to implement AI as an 'assistant' to Radiologists right now

China's amphibious warfare capabilities are lacking at best and they have no troops with any real combat experience
It's not just Taiwan, but a ton of small islands Taiwan has along the way that could and would missile and bombard everything that must be taken out before any invasion force even gets on the boats
Once they finally reach Taiwan (~100 miles) and start offloading troops, they encounter urban areas and mountains, the types of areas invaders typically like to avoid and just encircle
Each subsequent wave of their invasion will carry less and less troops and more and more supplies for the troops already ashore, this lifeline must be maintained or the troops ashore will run out of everything from freshwater and batteries to fuel and ammunition
In taking Taiwan, China would destroy the industry that is present on the island

What can they do?
China finally as something they've been wanting forever, Sailors with more than 10 years of experience and they're not about to risk them to confront the US. If they send their fleet to confront the US they'd be gambling it all on Trump backing down, which thus far seems like a stupid bet.
Their options would be fight not only the US Navy but land based air power as well, and their combat lifespan would be measured in hours (if that) as they'd get our undivided attention immediately. Or they could bluff, but when it gets called and the turn around and head back to China they lose a lot of credibility.
If they were going to lift a finger to do more than type something they'd have done it during Israel's 12 day war against Iran but they're not that stupid.
As for Russia what can they do? Send air power over the Caspian Sea to protect Iran? Sounds like a great way to lose valuable assets and the Russian Navy would be unable to launch a meaningful defense of Iran.

In my experience it's more like a recent grad that finished top of it's class, that said this time last year it was more like a great high school student I'd say it's making progress quickly
