It’s funny yall say that because I was reading the USC on3 board and they were discussing how formidable tandem they are recruiting.
I wouldn’t doubt that Lane is a bit lazier on the recruiting trail now but he seems more than capable when he’s needed. Hasn’t hurt so far at least.
If Lane and Orgeron are going to be so terrible you’d think this board would be elated but all I see is crying

Do you remember when LSU fans celebrated the firing of that bum Ed Orgeron and rejoiced in the arrival of Brian Kelly? And then just years later those same LSU fans celebrated the firing of that bum Brian Kelly and rejoiced in the arrival of Ed Orgeron?

People think the persona is the person.
He’s socially awkward and uncomfortable interacting with people.
But if you have O lightening the mood to counter Kiffin’s aloofness I guess it could work. But Kiffin thinks recruiting is transactional not personal. But like Walker Jones says when the money is even traditional recruiting takes over.

I am just glad for LSU fans they won the bidding war for Coach O. He was in high demand. Crab Island Charters was pursuing him to be their new pirate for the summer, and Boshamp’s wanted him as a bouncer.

Um..don't LSU fans claim he was the head coach of the greatest team of all-time in CFB history? So he sucks as a HC, but can make the greatest team to ever play? Confused by that logic..very much does not add up at all.
