Very few were happy about how he finished his HCing tenure here, nor the condition the program was in.
Having said that, no one can deny he's proven to be a great recruiter and has been quite successful within his element.
Everyone loves a comeback. I'm glad he's getting a chance to "make amends", so to speak.

As a head coach, yes, as a special assistant to recruiting and defense hell yeah come on, buddy. He only has the greatest football team of all time under his belt, plus several national championships with other teams as an assistant. If you guys aren’t worried about this addition, then go ahead and keep putting your heads in the sand. these two are gonna go ham

I don't think anyone ever shite on his recruiting or DL coaching skills.
I do think we have two great DL coaches, so he might just be a full-time recruiter that just camps out at Louisiana high schools year round. That would be awesome.

I’m sure your 23,600 posts since 2021 regarding LSU has plenty of archives citing some disparaging things about Orgeron.
Amazing how difficult this is to process for the room temp iq SEC Rant but Orgeron has lots of value as an assistant. Just not a fan of him as a head coach.
