Recruiting will determine when The Nick calls it quits. No doubt programs are using his age against him today and that will only get worse as it did with Coach Bryant. To be continued.

There are plenty of coaches that win with average talent. Hand a few stars and they win big. Saban has a team full of 5*s and still gets beat down by Gus with with a spotty talented team. If you are the GOAT, you don't lose when you have more talent than anyone else. If you do it's your coaching.

Wat if ur team is injured. Those 5*s mean nothing if they r not playing or not 100%. U think aub could beat bama when their RB was playing injured?

He won't stay at Bama more that two years before going back to the NFL.

Saban's tDecline has already begun. He clearly senses it and this whole statement is a desperate attempt to convince his own subconscious that he isn't over the hill. He's giving himself a mental placebo.

If this is what a decline looks like, then every college football coach better hope to reach this level of decline.

I can’t say I love my job so much that I would still want to devote 100 hours a week to it even as a 66 y/o multimillionaire. I envy that to an extent. But at the same time I wouldn’t want my interests to be so singular that I couldn’t think of anything else to do with my time at some point.

But he’s happy doing what he does, so more power to him.

it would be unreasonable to expect him to be able to keep Bama going at this level more than 3-5 more years.

How many times have we heard this over the past 10 years?

Remember when Saban was leaving Bama after 1-2 years? I do. Funny to think about how much shite Bama and Bama fans took from opposing fans and the media.

Who the frick is laughing now?

I think he will. He clearly restores his youthfulness by eliminating other SEC coaches and watching them get fired.

such babies y'all are

ironic considering the existence of the SEC Rant is owed to Bama fans coming to td to troll LSU fans en masse after they hired Saban. Y'all have given as good as you've gotten buttercup.

Cool, show me the national championships won by teams with average talent the last 25 years. I'll wait.

I'm going to spill the beans here: the REC has some medical associates in Panama, where Saban goes to have stem cell treatment during one of his few times not diligently working. He's got another 10 years baw.

I thought the REC was directly injecting the daily Little Debbie cakes with the stem cells?
