Every now and then I think that, but then I remember I might hate their gymnastics and softball teams even more, so it's good bad things happen in the fall.

ah, flashbacks of when I went here and "Both big sports" would mean Football and Softball.

Honestly, kind of weird to know the Iron Bowl could be rendered completely irrelevant...... in an objective sense.
Beat OU and and our ranking and tie-breakers are likely high enough that neither our SEC or Natty campaigns are altered by a hiccup on the plains.
(I suppose the rub would be the SEC title now becoming an elimination game, as it would be a potential third loss in that scenario)

Probably.
Peak for programs OVERALL was probably 2011-2012-2013 with multiple National Championships throughout our sports....... and that was Anthony Grant's high water era where it looked like the next level was just a season away.
Hell, the volleyball team was an NCAA tournament tier program, everything was seemingly firing on all cylinders or reving up.

I mean, there is one celebrity Bama fan out there who could EXPLAIN why we're going to win.

DID YOU KNOW: Alabama fans last rushed the court in 2002.
Antoine Pettway scored in the last second to win the SEC in Coleman Coliseum, prompting Mark's Madness to swarm the court.
So far, Crimson Chaos has been able to restrain itself even after buzzer beaters against UGA, JaMychal Green tip ins vs Auburn, Top 5 Iron Bowls, and yes, even SEC deciding games.
As Bama Basketball rises in prestige, do you think any situation or scenario in Tuscaloosa would warrant another student invasion?

lol.
Nick Saban is in his 70s and already has all the money in the world, what's he even gonna do with 100 million that he can't already do now?

Doesn't count. It was a proposal, a hypothesis. Not a prediction.
Although, it does remind me of how that whole 2000 incident was one of Mal Moore's weirder choices. Like, who does that? Just let the man clean out his desk.

Auburn picked a great time for a coaching search, I hear Mike Shula is available.

Decades of SEC experience, has never coached an Iron Bowl where Auburn lost, Offense can immediately switch to his system (provided they can master 80 variations of runs up the middle).

Hot take. Imagine if Auburn pulls a DuBose and refuses to part with Freeze. Alabama rolls in full expecting a war in Jordan Hare and plays their A+ game vs a team that has completely broken down.... resulting in one of the most lopsided Iron Bowls since the World Wars.
