At anyone trying to corner barbershop talk

Barbershop talk was around before LaBron was a gleam-in-his-daddy's-eye

Saban just said kiss my arse in a nice way. If it were Ohio State doing this in sure LeBron wouldn't have commented at all. Admire him as a player but he's sadly become an attention whore .

Saban on LeBron/"Shop Talk": "There's been at least 20 barbershop-type things I've seen on TV. ... I didn't even know he had one. I'm sorry anybody could be offended by something that we were just having fun with. I enjoyed it, and we're going to continue to do it"

I wonder if LeBron realizes that we already paid a buck to Alexander Shunnarah as a retainer?

It's already over and LeBron doesn't even know it.

Um... barbershop talk has been going on for 100+ years. Mayors used to "hold court" in their local.

LJ, usually I side with you. You are wrong in saying you have a copyright on barbershop talk.

Whatever happened with that supposed racist graffiti that magically appeared at his house in his gated community? Did they catch "perpetrator"?

Turned out to be his crew did it. No media coverage bc it wasn't wrong to say he was a victim of racist hate. It COULD have happened. The point was to get people talking about potential racist actions!

Wow so when he says “Call me Alabama!” he means literally Alabama.

FS1 has a series called "Back Of The Shop". If anyone should be suing someone it''s Fox suing LBJ

Back of the Shop is a sports talk show with sports and entertainment superstars as the hosts. The show takes place in the Bronx, New York at Jordan Sport Barbershop. After first being aired on May 24, 2014[1] with David Ortiz, Alfonso Soriano, Iman Shumpert and Larry Johnson[2] as guests, it now airs regularly on Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1.

Lebron is just trying to get people to watch his shite by rattling the king of the jungle's cage.

Like he said, his posse will figure it out.

Please tell me you aren't sending your grandkids to freaking Juco just to save money. Open your wallet and pay for Auburn

There is zero wrong with a kid going the juco or community college route for 2 years and then transferring to the 4 year school of their choice.

1) it gives them (or their parents) the financial head start
2) it allows the child to acclimate to college workload and, likely for the first time for some, having to actually study
3) when they graduate from the 4 year school of their choice there will be no asterisk on their degree that says "except for the 2 years he/she went to X instead". Their degree will still say University of Whatever

I went the 4 year route (in 5 years b/c I goofed off too much for the fist 2 years), but looking back I think having gone JUCO for first year or 2 would've been fine.

Saturday Down South

quote:

“That’s exactly what I would think he would say,” James said Tuesday night. “But I built UNINTERRUPTED for a reason, for us athletes to have a platform to be able to speak your mind about whatever we want to talk about. I respect him as a coach, but I’ll be damned if I allow someone to use our platform or try to do the same thing we’re doing and just think it’s OK.

“The lawyers will figure it out.”

LeBron, in response to Saban saying they would continue doing "Shop Talk," continues to make himself look like a gigantic baby. He talks about building "UNINTERRUPTED" for athletes to have a platform to talk, but yet he wants to take a platform away from athletes.

Derek Jeter and the Player’s Tribune should go after LeBron for stealing their idea.

It doesn't appear LeBron has a legit claim or case, per an ESPN article:
quote:

However, none of James' businesses have a copyright or trademark associated with "The Shop," which would make this an intellectual property claim.
