Bazaar Meat at the Venetian and Bavette's at the Park MGM are outstanding

One night should be spent on Fremont imo and few restaurants are more classically Vegas than Oscar’s. Featured in a scene in Casino.

For a budget meal....Din ti Fung at Aria is reasonable compared to many restaurants on the strip. That being said, would still probably be $40 or 50 a person with drinks etc.
Arkansas has no chance. Their interior D stinks and that's right in Arizona's wheelhouse. All they want to do is get inside.

Do you not remember players slipping all over the logos they'd put down on the home courts?

re: Basketball strategy question

It was a strange change of philosophy in the Kansas game that did them in

All game long, KU defensive strategy was to make St John’s beat them with their shooting. But when it mattered the most, they seemed to completely abandon that strategy…guarding on the perimeter and leaving a wide open lane to drive 1-on-1 for the game-winning layup.

I’d much rather live with giving St John’s a jumper than allowing a layup. Honestly, I would have have the center camp in the paint from the start on that final play for some rim protection. If their guy hits a jumpshot to win because of that, you live with it

Check on the CarMax website. They did me a solid on an old beater. Best price I got and it was very easy to turn in.

Having the biggest display screen in a sports arena is awesome. Playing on that screen for games that matter is a different story. This is great for an all star game or some exhibition games where guys are going half speed.

When you need to make an explosive move, having give in the court is a detriment.

What a crazy tiebreak scenario for Korea to advance. They had to win by at least a five-run margin in regulation innings while allowing no more than two runs to secure a ticket to the quarterfinals. They did exactly that winning 7-2.

Scored a run in the top of the 9th to get to that margin after a bad throw on what would have been an inning ending (and ultimately tournament ending) DP ball that allowed runners to get to 1st and 3rd, Run scored on a sac fly to make the margin 5 runs.

Basically they’ve created a league where they’ll draft “players” from each “sport” onto teams. They’ll have a season long team competition and theyll end the season in New Orleans for the championship round

Sent a letter sized envelope from NOLA to Birmingham last Wednesday. Paid for 3 day. Estimated delivery date was Saturday. Didn't get to Memphiis till Saturday and got to the address yesterday. Quality work.

Refresh my memory, is that the game where Bo Wallace left the field early?

Yep

I think he has a good case. He's been in school 6 years, but his 1st year was Covid (and he didn't really play). Out of the other 5 seasons, he's only played significant time in 3 of those seasons (the last 3 years).
He's attempted a pass in 43 games. I think we've seen enough. That's 3.5 seasons worth of games
I don’t see any blinky beads, footballs or swords being thrown. No way those people are having fun

There was a working doorbell camera but it was disconnected? I’d think someone would have to approach the camera first before disconnecting. No images from that? Also, a camera detects movement but no video running? A little confusing to me.
Apparently they weren't on a plan to save data so it all disappeared 24 hours later
I'm not a BB fan at all. But this dude has a huge global following and has for years.

After recording 29 billion streams on Spotify in 2023 and 28 billion in 2024, Taylor Swift recorded another banner year in 2025 with 20.59 billion. That would have been the 3rd largest year ever, all by herself, if Bad Bunny didn’t decide to join the party with 21.00 billion streams, he tops the list, as he previously did in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Spotify has a weekly Top 50 and Daily Top 50.

BB has 5 songs in the weekly top 50, and the daily he has the FIRST 9 SPOTS and 25 of the top 50.

BB has 97,849,454 monthly listeners (#6 in the world).

Super Bowl LX ratings aren’t out yet. Nor has viewership been revealed for the halftime show. That obviously hasn’t stopped the clickbait from fringe social media news sources, however. Nielsen does not release full viewership numbers on Mondays. The final number will be out today. And remember, Nielsen’s Super Bowl number is United States only. So no matter what the viewership for the Super Bowl ends up being, it will almost certainly be used incorrectly by those looking to push an agenda.
