So the umps didn’t eject the hitter. Coaches got thrown out for arguing for the sake of arguing.

I don’t think the coach realized the player didn’t get tossed.

To be fair, there is a lot of douchebaggery in the college game you do not see in the pros. I think the little league sideline antics by dugouts in the college game needs to stop. It's silly, juvenile, and I think it encourages the little tantrums and over-excited antics you get that end up causing scenes like the one at Clemson just now.

Same. The coach was standing next to the ESPN representative. She didn’t know anything that was going on until after she talked to the ump, which was after the coach got tossed.
