Yeh I think Mingione's buyout is the main barricade there, I'd bet he would be State's top target otherwise. Good move on UK, I think that's gonna almost eliminate him from contention. I'd certainly be happy pulling him.

State fans?
Lemonis is definitely gone. Baseball is gonna have some excitement injected in June with our shiny new coach being announced.
Basketball will continue to be competitive, and hopefully get further in the tourney if Jans sticks around a while.
Football we need to just forget about. We're not ever going to be competitive in the NIL era. Go all in on basketball and baseball, where we could actually compete for a title on occasion. If we go all in on football it's still only 5-6 wins.

I just hope they let the same morons from the community speak at the next hearing. That was worth the cost of admission.

No infield fly. Gotta have runners on first and second.
Just a dumb play by the batter.

It's nuts, I don't understand how the market is trying to push this red.
That run last night after hours was a killer. Made people feel like they missed out already. Freakin millions of dollars changed hands at $2.75 less than 3 trading hours ago, and now we're fighting to stay green today at a buck fitty after the President said "yeh this project is really important". Insane.

Hopefully just my cynical side, haha.
Would love to get this thing settled above $2 and get some positive momentum going.

It's already wild.
14 million since we closed yesterday. That's 8x average volume and the market isn't even open yet.
I honestly don't know what to expect today. It could surge back to $2, it could go red because people think they already missed the run last night.
2025 stock market is stupid.

Fully Paid Lending Plays
Posted by Fe_Mike on 4/17/25 at 8:11 am
I was going to make a thread about a specific company, but thought it might be better just to have a thread to share companies with nice lending rates.
Wanted to bring this one to the board because I know a lot of folks enjoyed the fully paid lending when SLI was booming.
My contribution (fair warning I've done limited DD on this stock):
Microbot Medical (MBOT), it's a medical device company with equipment currently under FDA review and a decision expected in Q2. I took a small flyer position recently at $1.50 and have enjoyed a nice price spike (currently at $2.50), not really sure upside potential, but that's not really why I'm posting.
The stock is currently being lent from my account at a rate of 104%. I'm getting huge returns on my shares out.
I don't think this is something that is going to have a binary run if they get FDA approval, it may even be a sell the news event, but this FPL income is nothing to sneeze at regardless of share price. I would have sold by now if not for that.
FWIW their device is a robotic surgery assistant machine designed to reduce radiation exposure during surgery. Their trial was at 3 major hospitals including Sloan Kettering and data was recently presented showing 100% success rate with 92% reduction in radiation exposure, so I think it's a pretty good technology. But again, DD has been limited because it's a small investment speculative flyer for me so enter at your own risk. Remember, high demand for shares to short means there is a strong belief in the market that the company is going to lose value/stock will drop soon.
TLDR: MBOT has a 104% rate on fully paid lending if you're into that kinda stuff.
Anybody got any other tickers currently paying out nicely on FPL?

re: 37yr old with high cholesterol. How to manage properly?

This is probably an obvious one and I would assume your doctor would catch this, but just to make sure we're not missing the smoking gun - you aren't on any HRT are you? That could definitely cause the big LDL spike.
Any hormone imbalance is worth looking into, but if you're on HRT I'd say that is almost definitely the cause and would be tough to fix with diet/lifestyle alone.

State leads 13-3 heading to the bottom of the 8th, trying to send Bama home an inning early.

Friggin hit parade. State’s first 5 batters in the 5th on with 5 hits.

I'm not saying that particular gif is real or not, just that this statement is silly. Think about throwing a basketball at a brick wall. If you're standing 5 feet from a brick wall and pelt it, you think the basketball isn't making it back to where it started? Your broken nose will disagree.
Concept is the same on a shot hitting a rim. Has everything to do with how hard to you shoot it, how high, where you started from, angle it hits the rim, how stiff the rim is, etc.
Basketballs don't bounce back further than they were shot from, give me a break.
