re: Time to admit LSU got it wrong.

ND never panicked on their search, once BK left, they knew they had their guy.

They did panic b/c BK left them in the playoff hunt in 2021. ND was ranked #5 the week after BK left them. Lucky for them, their panic hire panned out. I'm not trying to discount what Freeman is doing there, but he inherited a great situation. He didn't build it from the levels that LSU sunk to in 2021. Freeman inherited the #5 team in the country in 2021 and then lost 7 games combined the following two years. This year he shite the bed early against Northern Illinois and has rebounded in a way that none of us expected. But as of September 8th, many thought ND was a dumpster fire based on his first 2 years and that game.

ND was ready for that game last night despite the distractions in NOLA. He deserves all the credit for that. All this proves is that sometimes coaching hires are a crap shoot. There is no such thing as a sure thing in college football unless you are hiring Saban.

Notre Dame should be seeded ahead of both of them due to having only one loss to their two. Records matter and one loss is better than two even if that one loss is a bad loss.

It's asinine to think losing to one shitty team is better than losing to two quality opponents.

He's a white cornerback. He must be a donor's nephew or something.

Notre Dame got significantly better by replacing Brian Kelly. Eeek…

significantly better??? Notre Dame was ranked higher in the CFP ranking in 2021 when Kelly left Notre Dame than they are right now.

I don’t think the coach realized the player didn’t get tossed.

Same. The coach was standing next to the ESPN representative. She didn’t know anything that was going on until after she talked to the ump, which was after the coach got tossed.

they got Ashy Larry in the driver's seat?

What can I say? I like the new model.
Damn. I’m ready for some baseball! :geauxtigers:

Go remove the LSU stats from these defenses and let us know if they’re ranking stays the same.

Lou Tepper says hello.

Lou Tepper never had a game this bad. And before you downvote me, go look it up. Never gave up 700 yards or 55 points
As i was finishing high school i had decided to go to a smaller college bc I didn’t want to be at LSU. I had a random conversation with a buddy’s mom one day and she talked me into going to LSU to pursue an Ag degree b/c her brother was doing well with one. I never even pursued the Ag degree, but I graduated from LSU and never left BR. I met my wife at the Chimes. My life would be nothing like it is today if not for that one conversation I had with some lady that probably didn’’t last 20-30 minutes..
Recently, we were at an upscale food court type place. No service. Just order food and pickup once you get your text. All of the POSs defaulted to at least 15%. Today we ate at a restaurant where the server runs your card and then cleans the table as you sign the portable POS. The default tip options on the screen were 20%, 25%, and 30% with her looking over your shoulder. Off The Hook in BR hands you a clipboard and credit card receipt in the drive though with a tip line to sign before they give you the food. Go ahead a stiff them and see how that works out

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always been an above average tipper. I put myself through college on tips. But this shite is getting worse every day.

Apparently I was wrong but no one wants to explain the seeding.

Think of it like this. The top 8 seeds are not only tied to the team (i.e. LSU #5), but it is tied to everyone in our regional and the regional we are paired with (Kentucky #12). So it doesn’t matter if LSU, Kentucky or even Tulane wins the super, they will play in the same slot in Omaha). So yes, Tulane can make it Omaha with a better matchup than Vandy In Game 1

also blocked me on twitter bc she was talking shite about the Pels and got mad at me for defending them

Is it possible that there is more to this than you just defending them?

Been on tigerdroppings.com since 2004 and it takes a lot to say this.
I have seen some of the dumbest things on here after this loss.

You are not wrong

Clemson will pass them and Michigan will not drop below bama. The committee will not do it for this years bama even if it is a big loss.

The committee could have Clemson in front right now if they wanted, UM’s schedule has already been mentioned by the committee.
They can.
Bama is #7 they have a realistic shot getting to #4
UGA beats LSU
ND or Oregon beat USC
TCU loses
OSU beats UM by a decent margin

Bama has lost 2 games, Both on the road and on the last play of the game. Bama Could be #4 if the above scenario played out. I don’t like it anymore than you guys, but it can happen,
That’s portal tickets on the 50? Sign me up

There is literally about 8 minutes of video from a plane where herbie and Fowler (posted on instagram) are both dick riding LSU and Brian Kelly. These guys were freaking pumped about LSU last night. It’s a shame some of our fans will bitch about anything
