this announcer Todd walker sounds like his dog died.. "That's where we are at .." this pitch that wasn't a strike was low and inside.. is the difference in the inning being over....

Mississippi will be favored vs. every team in Omaha aside from the winner of MSU-UGA. Rebels will win the national title and Bianco retires a hero.

We still have plenty of time to drive this straight into a brick wall.

Only at Ole Miss...

Bianco wins the national championship twice in 5 years...

SOME Ole Miss fans... "For the love of God, please retire so we can get a good coach. The game has passed you by."

My former neighbor, Jerry Bynum, was on the '57 CWS team at Ole Miss. He was also on the basketball team.

I didn't know it when I bought the house, but he was on my dad's team at Corinth High School. Small world.

Good luck, Rebels.

Back then Swayze did all of Vaught’s recruiting. In return he got the baseball program. He got quarterbacks who could pitch. Lots of people forget Jake Gibbs went to the Yankees. Archie pitched for Ole Miss as well. That is what attracted Swayze to recruit Archie.

It is amazing how many fans hate Bianco. I lived in Oxford for eight years and that's the best program on campus.

We lose every year to State. No matter what. We have blown so many games with leaving pitchers in. All our players constantly swinging for the fences. But I wouldn’t say hate. Just tired. 27 years is a really long time.

Tell me, if LSU loses the next 4 years to Ole Miss would you keep Lane? Or Auburn losing every year to Bama. Or vice Versa?

Especially when putting top 5 resources into the program and haven't been getting top 5 results outside of one of the luckiest runs of all time.

I’m fine giving Calhoun 1 batter with a 3 run lead, but hindsight is 20/20

Yeah sending him back out to see if he could get another out or two was the right call

Announcer "a left handed pitcher can't throw a changeup to a left handed batter"

Hooks gets the last two outs doing exactly that.

Somebody go hug that Auburn fan in the light blue shirt sitting on the first base side. He has decided that every move to 1B our pitchers have made tonight is a balk and he's very passionate about it. Not a few of the pickoff moves. EVERY THROW OVER TO FIRST HE'S UP AND YELLING AT THE UMPIRE.

I have not seen a Balk tonight. Elliot does get away with his front leg angle sometimes but none that I saw tonight.
