-Is Big Bend worth the trip to check out?
-If so, what's the best way to get there? Fly to San Antonio and rent a car?
-What's the best time of year to go? I presume Spring or Fall.
-Are certain areas or parts of the park better than others? Any must sees or must dos?
-Is it camping or any cabins you'd recommend staying at?
-Any restaurants, bars/breweries, attractions that you'd recommend?

1. Yes. It's a wonderful trip.
2. I'd go March, April when the Ocotillo are blooming.
3. We did everything and enjoyed it all, but you don't have to venture far from the entrance to find good hiking and peaks.
4. We stayed at the Gage Hotel in Marathon. It's great with a great bar. You can rent a lot of places in Terlingua.
5. Starlight Theater and the Back Porch. Don't miss those. Or the restaurant in the Gage.
You may be right, but I show
Football, baseball, softball, rowing, men's golf, men's S&D, men's tennis, women's tennis. None of your track and field or XC teams made it. That hurts. I missed volleyball, so that's 10. Regular and beach. You don't have gymnastics. Soccer missed.
So, there appears to be 4 tiers, although I'm hesitant to include State with Missouri. State's baseball program is elite.

Texas, Florida and Georgia
A&M, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, OU, LSU
Auburn, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Vandy, South Carolina
Miss State and Missouri

Texas has the best overall athletic dept in the SEC, hands down. UF is now a distant second when they used to dominate overall. Congrats to the horns for being the best in the nation this year.

That's simply not true. Florida had far more teams ranked in the top twenty five (17 to 8) over the past 12 months. But Texas had more national champions, and therefore piled up more points.
Walmart and members of the Walton family have given the university over $700 million. $300 million came in 2002.
Pretty amazing how they pull that together so quickly. Well done!
There aren't many.

The Godfather
Unforgiven
Pale Rider
No Country for Old Men
Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid
Patton
Leon: The Professional
They're not having such a good time right now. Down 0-2 to Brazil.
Alabama, Georgia and OU get to the CFP more than any other schools in the SEC, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to say the next winner will come from that group.
It won't be Alabama. Texas has the best shot this year. I'll say the winner of the OU-Texas game will be your next national champion.

I have no hope. Looking forward to XC, though.

Now if we can just bring the women back from the abyss. Especially the distance program. Decent recruiting class coming in, but if you are going to compete in the SEC and nationally, you have to load up on Africans.
Colorado and Stanford, two former distance powerhouses, don't and they are nowhere to be seen in the 5000 and 10000.

We have a good coach. He's not won it all yet, but we have a top program with great fan support.

I don't see Skip leaving OU.
Georgia has done a phenomenal job have assembled tremendous depth. They're right up there with us, LSU and Florida in terms of overall talent.

I always tell people that if you really want to understand the true level of athletic excellence in the SEC, go to an SEC track & field championship meet. The depth of world class athletes just blows your mind. You will see world records broken.

This meet needs to be moved to a more central location. The attendance in Oregon was terrible and the majority of the qualifiers are not from the west coast. It's a beautiful facility, but it's hard for families to make that trip.
When we host the indoor championships, we pack the house in Fayetteville.

Well you are going to have to explain what you mean by odd, but maybe someone who ran track can answer that. A track meet is a long event and a logistical nightmare. If you listen to the twin pole vaulters interview, they spoke of how they have to manage their energy because their event took 3 hours.

Heptathlon and pentathlon are earlier in the day so they don't interfere with the other events. Running events, especially distance events, are run in the evening because it's cooler. The 10,000 is always run late. Breaks are built in to set up and remove hurdles. There's also recovery time, because some runners may run the 1500 and then come back to run the 5000 on the same day.

Imagine being a grown man watching other grown men gallop around in a circle. Straight up low test, beta cuck behavior.

One of my children was on the Razorback team. We had the best time watching world class athletes compete against one another. My wife and I are still huge fans and are proud of it.

Try to be a better person.
The previous coach, Bucknam, had some runner up finishes, but couldn't duplicate Coach Mac's success. It's like following Wooden or Bryant.
And Florida had a strong run. Georgia is coming up now. Tennessee is usually there. The competition is unbelievable.
Jaiden Reid for LSU sets a collegiate record in the 200 meters. Smoke city.
You had to think they'd get a run across at some point. Shake it off.
