The president's need to inform attorney's for SEC. That they only advise but do not have final decision. They also need new attorney's who will protect SEC and not allow Sankey to get the conference into expensive muddy waters

I'm not arguing that fact.
We are talking this specific case and situation.

I don't think she lied. That's my opinion.

If they voted to dismiss and Sankey didn’t, then it completely refutes his argument about self governance by partners.

Because an attorney would never lie or misrepresent something. Never.

Now make that attorney a politician. A politician would never lie or misrepresent something. Never.

Edit: And it is a woman. A woman would never lie or misrepresent something. Never.

Lmaooooooo

Wow, so edgy and cool

Honestly, I'd have to hear the statement and how it was worded. Because while I acknowledge lawyers and politicians are skilled at putting their own spin on things, they normally don't blatantly lie openly.

As in, if the SEC presidents DIDN'T vote to dismiss the lawsuit, I don't think she would say they did. It's just far too easy to get caught in that lie.

At the least, the SEC office should be brave enough to say what LSU actually did that irritated them. Then, everyone can poke holes in it if they wish.

That is part of the rub for LSU fans. According to Locked On, there were 70 lawsuits involving 400 players and no other conference is acting this way. None of this shite is making any sense to anyone.

Todd Golden fricking nailed it....

Strictly my opinion, but I think he probably did have support when the rest of the conference thought Lane would play pros. I think the rest of the conference likely wants to move on now as nothing happened, but Sankey wants to make a point.

Well obviously I don't think the presidents of the other 15 institutions wants this Federal case to continue.
If this keeps going then everyone gets drug into court.
They are Sankey's boss that way they're part of a lawsuit eventually if this continues.

The conference wanted LSU publicly to admit wrong doing.
That hasn't happened nor will it happen.

Ah I see. They voted to dismiss but the SEC doesn't want to.

Meh, if the members say no, that should be enough imo.

If the University Presidents tell you to stop you stop or it is gross insurbonation no?

I.find it hard to believe SEC is in defiance of the collective will of the SEC Presidents

It is strange to find a baw - especially on this board - who is still doing the #BelieveAllWomen and #MeToo thing.

Or are ya just an attorney? Do you believe everything opposing counsel says or files?

Or were ya elected dog catcher in Terrebonne Parish?

Could very well be.

The LSU admins (not the fans) did need to be humbled in my estimation.

He should address that to the man in the mirror. He was woefully unprepared.

Perhaps, they aren't functionally doing anything that other conference admins aren't doing though.

ETA- Publicly at least

Not sure who the bigger retard would be in this situation.

Sankey is probably going to get the conference sanctioned if he is refusing to drop the case despite his bosses telling him to.

Or Murrill if she’s lying about a vote.

Like at least one party couldn’t be dumber in this situation.
