Gave my daughter a budget and she stayed within it.
Son got married and his brides family paid 0..I Gave them a budget and they spent under budget.
Best investment was my grandchildren.
Tip...tell them here is budget and you don't pay for divorces.
Marriage is work ii is not playing house

Suing is often about settlement,

Negotiation or mediation is a better approach for the client, generally suing is better financially for the attorney .
As long as he is being paid his normal salary and no separation documents have been signed he is still an employee. Your duties as head coach may have been removed but in labor law that is not the same as employee termination.
This is legal posturing for separation settlement.
Being an employee without a contract you fall under company policy. Being an employee with a contract means you must abide by policy AND your contract. Those items may not be separated unless you are a 1099 contractor.

Not always, its one of the ways attorney's make money is litigating contracts. Judges often rule against one side or the other regarding contracts.
This is Louisiana and nothing is ever what it seems or appears in our judicial system
re: Coach O has more integrity than Brian kelly

It's not about the money but how you handled the situation.
Coach O won a natty and deserved his payout. He walked away in a professional manner
bk never won anything to speak of and walked out of a meeting like a spoiled brat .

Ed realized when it was over and walked away when he should. He did coach LSU and won a NC.
When confronted with reality he said what do you want me to do?
Kelly committed insubordination, walked out of the room on his boss, indicated he would negotiate in good faith, then withdrew that and now is quickly losing any opportunity he has to maintain some personal integrity.
Coach O is still grateful to have coached at LSU.
Looks like brian may have never deserved the title coach

re: We can all agree CBK didn't deserve a $100M contract, but would you take a smaller buyout?
Posted by 756 on 11/10/25 at 4:05 pm to homemadeshine
The law is an interesting thing.even the best written contract can be litigated and tied up for years where no one really wins but attorneys. Attorneys really prefer settlement.
Agents are good negotiators but litigation is not what they do.
Kelly's Agent really wants to settle. He nor Kelly have the money to tick off a billionaire or two who can litigate them to bankruptcy

You want power? Look at Armada Pro 4 x it will out run anything we have mentioned 425hp, 516 pounds of torque

. The only guy that could do that is Alex Atkins our acting offensive coordinator
Fire Davis today, give Alex a shot at Oline coach
Try Rattay at OC. ALEX flat out has no skills in OC area. How many screens did he call?
Frank and Verge will not do this but if they bled purple and gold like they claim , they would go all in and do this .
At this point anything is worth a try!
