I heard about this yesterday around lunch. Allegedly, he had surgery here in Hattiesburg but don't know where or who in relation to the concert.

It's the culture, not the state. It's everywhere and people need to quit being politically correct and call it what it is.

Los Lonely Boys is the only group worth a shite I recognize. Doubt it was that. That was on Mother’s Day though.

If it was early Sunday morning, probably a Saturday show so:

Southern Crown Hip Hop Fest in Jackson. (Rick Ross, Ludacris)
CPR Fest in Biloxi

Those seem to be the two biggest concert events Saturday night.

If not they prolly something local.

MSU and Ole Miss passed on Ahmad and he went to ULM year 1. If you go watch him play against Mississippi State last season he was running like a man with something to prove. Mizzou comes to Oxford in midOctober and I hope he's well and healthy enough to show the Rebels that they made a mistake as well. God speed and get well quickly Mr. Hardy.

That would be my blind guess - late Saturday night into early Sunday morning at some local joint. I think if a shooting occured at an actual organized / large event it would have made the news way sooner. Not necessarily Hardy, but just generally that there was a shooting at a big event.

I think that would rule out anywhere near Jackson.

Depends where he was shot, did it go through, what size round. For Missouri fans, your worse case scenario, he got his foot shot off, or took a large round in one of his legs, or his spine. Any of that and he's done running the ball.

If he took a 22 to upper torse or arm, he'll be back soon.

Either way, I hope he recovers well, and dumpsters the SEC again this year.

If it was the Rick Ross/Ludacris event there’d no doubt be news, if only on reddit. Unless it was long after the show was over.

Definitely a local show: country or rap in some small time bar or event venue and some drunk a-hole pulled.

Pearsall took a chest wound August 31 and took his first nfl snap week 7 in October. There’s an extremely large range of his availability if he’s cleared of life or sport altering damage.

That says nothing of the psychological trauma of getting shot though.

Alert and moving around, sounds better than simply stable. Hope he recovers quickly!

One of the many reasons I don’t frequent this board that much anymore. Some of the things posted on here are just nasty.
