Dave’s Dark Horse is the best dive bar in MS. Aside from that, nothing very impressive

I love Dave’s. The Bin is nice too.

Central Station Grill downtown on the RR tracks is a nice restaurant/bar. Good atmosphere.
Campus is clean and beautiful. It will be nice upgrade for our LSU friends compared to your own campus. Not trying to be mean there but your campus is dingy and has a grimy feel to it.
Game will probably be a blow out win for you guys so anytime you win on the road it is a good experience.

picking up some cheese from the MSU Dairy is unique. Its really some of the finest cheese you will ever have.
It really is quite good. One of the salesman that called on my dad would send us that cheese every year and it was always much appreciated.

Drive to west point and eat at Anthony's. Hit the Pony on the way back. Best Friday night in the SEC.

The poster famous for having a hermaphrodite avatar is talking shite?
We'll take that as a compliment. Thanks

I've been up there a few times and I have sworn off ever going back. Never again!!

Starkville is a good place to go to a game. Better than Oxford imo.
This would make sense coming from a North Floridian. I'm sure the astronomically high pickup truck cost as a percent of home/trailer value in Starkville made you feel right at home.

I love when folks who defend Oxford, MS post stuff like this.

Stromboli's is shite. TERRIBLE!!! On busy weekends they don't have a good enough pizza oven to cook your pizza all the way so you end up with a pizza with uncooked dough. Never eat there. 100% garbage service too. It is the worst. They are an embarrassment to the food industry and Starkville.
If you want pizza go to Dave's get a chicago style pie spend some time drinking cold ones cause they take about 45 minutes maybe an hour if everyone is ordering chicago style. They have hand tossed and thin cracker crusts too, but you will get a pizza that has been fully cooked and doesn't taste like eating raw biscuits out of a can with the cheapest toppings that they can buy. I think they import their toppings from Sudan.
I literally got severe food poisoning from Stromboli's. They have to be laundering money or paying off the inspectors to keep that place open.
all other recommendations are spot on.

Two Brothers is the best place in town to eat, I love their pulled pork grilled cheese.
Rosey Baby’s has like 70 beers on tap, they have a really cool tap room you can visit. Cotten district should be packed Saturday night.
Cowbells is the only real bar with a dance floor but it is trashy as hell. Seen unspeakable things in that bar.

Ricks has a dance floor and Frank Foster is playing tomorrow night. That’s where I’ll be.

Honestly, why even mention that place.

Eat at Anthony's in West Point and thank me later. Be sure to bring your own liquor.
If you stay through Sunday afternoon, eat brunch at the Veranda. $3 bloody marys and mimosas, though I would avoid the eggs benedict options (they are hit or miss). Get some cajun tenders and be happy.
It actually has pretty decent food, but I've rarely seen anyone eating there. A shame.

No one should ever go to Cowbells. For any reason.

What if you want to get loaded, fight someone, and take home a skank?
