Guess Bill Synder actually knew what he was talking about yesterday. He was simply sending out best wishes yesterday and he got flak for it. And what we know today is that he was actually in the know and Coach had actually passed yesterday.

RIP. He was one of my favorite coaches. I am for sure a Mississippi State fan this bowl season. Praying for his family and his team.

This really sucks. Such a great character for college football.

Hopefully MSU will wear a pirate flag sticker on their helmets for the bowl game and all next year in honor.

So incredibly sad. Loved watching this guy coach and loved, absolutely loved his attitude when not coaching. Prayers to his family and friends.

It would be cool if all the sec teams wear a pirate flag sticker or msu sticker during bowl season.
