I watched this with no idea of the back story and really enjoyed it. The feminist lean is there but is not in your face.

Larson does a good job in this role, very believable.
It is 10:30am on 12/12 and the LSU / aTm game is currently on SEC Network.

Speights is terrible and House should be fired just for letting him have this much playing time.

If you have driven 150 miles you should be good.

I erased a check engine light code once and drove to an inspection station. Dude hooked up the reader, it failed. Dude asked if I had recently had any service done where my battery may have been disconnected and I said yes (I had also had my fuel pump replaced not too long prior to this). He said that he was getting an error code and could not give me a sticker, he did have to log it as a fail in his book and gave me an orange sticker but did not put it on my windshield as my current sticker was not yet expired (I had not waited for the last day of the month). Dude told me to drive it 150-200 miles and come back.

I did go ahead and replace the O2 sensor that had gone out and went back after 150 miles or so.

There is a grocery store on campus, Matherne's, that has anything to drink you would want, as well as cheap ice chests.

But as others said, wear your school colors and go with the flow, someone will invite you in and feed you.

I've read that people suggest wearing SDSU gear or colors so that other tailgaters might recognize us from this post and invite us over.

Definitely wear your SDSU gear. If you get dropped off around Skip Bertman Dr, I will invite you over for food and drinks.

Jobs and wages are great.

Just another person that saw the jobs number and didn't dig in to see that full time jobs dropped and part time jobs went up.
My old high school, Wingfield, is on the chopping block. Saw a post on FB from a current teacher who said the enrollment has dropped to 500. She also said part of their issue is that the school system no longer enforces residency requirements and students are attending schools outside of their areas.

It will be very interesting to see what JPS does with these properties, once they are vacant. Wingfield is a large campus.

I believe I read that his government was on the way out...until SHTF this week.

Send out a bunch of welders to undo the fricking damage you ordered done to the gates, dipshit.

And start buying back the sections of the uninstalled border wall that the gov't sold!!

Then why does Congress get re-elected at 94% of the time?

Because, as Newt Gingrich taught us, all politics is local. The mindset of "my representative is really good and needs to be re-elected but yours sucks and needs to be fired...you're stupid for voting for him."

Until we can convince enough people to think of the those elections as our only way to move the country forward, we will be stuck with this uni-party bullshite.

Chick Fil A makes their own biscuits for their breakfast service. I wonder if this would allow them to be exempt.

I don't like how they can help themselves to a pay raise, but sub-$200k for what they do is a bit crazy

Guess what....this government wasn't designed to be a fulltime, lifelong job.

We should lower the pay to $75k, an office and apartment per diem and annual audits of their tax returns.
I sat a couple of rows behind him in Starkville, he is a big man!

This is the big lie that never gets told.

I beg to differ.

I have made the MSU trip for several LSU games, sit in seats sold through LSU and never fail to have people around me ringing those damn things. Quite annoying.

fans are nice and engaging

Damn, I must smell bad or something. I have been to the last two LSU / OM games in Oxford and have yet to have been engaged by any fans in the Grove. Outside the Grove, yes, fans have been friendly but have yet been invited to stop and talk, have a beverage or anything.

I will also add that I am an OM alum and used to park my car in the Grove when going to games....current OM fans don't like to hear about that.

As others mentioned, just don't make a big show of pouring your beer into your red Solo cup and you should be fine. I once asked a OM police officer if I could smoke a cigar in the Grove, his advice was not to...said that he personally didn't care but that the campus was technical smoke free and that some "Karen" (his phrase) would surely ask him to make me throw it away. I gave him one for his advice and waited until later to light up.

It's a fun trip, never had any problems and always interesting to see what OM fans consider to be the premier tailgate in the SEC.

Not sure it'd be reasonable to even try today

It would definitely be a daunting task now. Pretty sure I arrived just shortly before kickoff and parked in, what is now, Touchdown Village. Which would be impossible now.
