Imagine what this site would have looked like with LSU down 21 to Houston in Tiger Stadium
Tommy Hodson went into his senior year with Heisman hype and a top 10 preseason ranking and the Tigers went 4-7, although Hodson played well for the most part
If they actually like playing football than yeah they want to be playing football

Dino Riders toys were fantastic. Cartoon was awesome too. For some reason other children of the 80s (I was born in 84) don’t remember these at all
Sent to a farm upstate where he can run around and get a lot of exercise

Really the G5 exception, I’ve racked my brain and the only G5 to P4 guys that have been super successful: Urban Meyer Jim tressel (technically d2) Gus malzahn (sort of) Brian Kelly (not really g5 to p4)

Meyer is on the all time greatest college football coach list so yeah that’s a high bar but there’s a few guys that made the jump and were successful

Chris Petersen, Mark Dantonio, Gary Patterson, Sonny Dykes

2011. It completely derailed a decades worth of momentum

I’ll never understand people who are the face of a university looking like complete shite. It’s not hard to lose weight, especially when you are on your feet, and have every imaginable resource at your disposal to clean it up
That’s been a violation forever but who the hell knows anymore. To my knowledge this isn’t happening yet with any big high school programs, but again who knows
Don’t have your best linebacker break his leg

He just threw the ball into a pile of people
He would probably make a great center but to take a kid with that kind of size and athleticism off the d line would be a mistake
The current playoff format is way way down the list of the current problems facing college football.
It’s mentioned in the book Across The River and the doc Algiers, America that he feels called to be there for those kids in that community. It’s not hyperbole when they say that his football program saves lives.

He mentions in the doc that he doesn’t have a wife or kids because he doesn’t feel he can take time and effort away from the kids he coaches. If that’s really the case it’s not about money or prestige, but about doing what you think you were put on earth to do
He’s probably 75 years old by now. I can’t imagine that he wants to start over in a new program at this point

It’s pretty easy to tell that that video is AI. I never thought it was real for one second
