Austin is most certainly not southern at all. It might be in the state of Texas, but that city isn’t southern at all. Most people in that city and that area in general aren’t from there anyway.

You’ve got to get out in the small towns outside of the Central Texas sprawl to find Texas…

But that's true for Atlanta and now Nashville as well. Doesn’t make their states any less southern.

And look at what happened to the whole state of Maryland . MD was a Confederate state, and there was a time when Baltimore was considered one of the jewels of southern cities. Now Baltimore is a third world war zone, and the rest of MD is culturally more like Massachusetts or Pennsylvania than any southern state.

Willie and Waylon disagree.

But anyway, Austin is about .5% of Texas. The rest of Texas makes the southeast look like pinkos.

Let's give Missouri, Texas, and Missouri the boot. Ain't nobody want those schools or states in the conference. Why did we ever let the Yankee Sankey expand into those states? It'll only be a matter of time before the Texas fans start wanting to move traditional events to Texas. El Paso is closer to California than Savannah. Aint nothing SEC about that state or southern about the rest. Thanks Sankey for ruining what was the greatest conference

First of all, why do we have to boot missouri twice? Also did you just pop in from the 1860’s? A lot has happened since then.

Missouri had 110,000 that fought for the Union...

40,000 that fought for the Confederacy...

Had two state governments at one point....

Border states like Missouri, Kentucky, Virginia/West West Virginia and even Indian Territory had some crazy stuff happen during the war.

I would venture to say a lot of rural areas in Missouri, particularly south of I-70 are more southern in culture and societal behavior than a lot of other so called southern states, damn sure ain't woke.

Your state legislature ceding power to Democrats suggests otherwise.

I don’t know why everyone is worked up, this is just a unique and genius application of the grammar rule that two negatives make a positive.
