Austin is most certainly not southern at all. It might be in the state of Texas, but that city isn’t southern at all. Most people in that city and that area in general aren’t from there anyway.
I will go check it out this weekend. I thought it was all houses and nice houses at that behind Winn-Dixie. I didn’t even know they had extra space back there.
Did you see the dude that did the shooting at The Julep room? He is from Gulfport. Riff-Raff. Any ideas of how to keep these people from the surrounding cities from coming over? A wall to protect our utopia? Haha

Gulf Park Estates is county. The people that live back there aren’t even considered in the population of the 17k per the census because GPE isn’t considered part of OS I have lived here my entire life and have only been back there a few times. Nothing wrong with the area just affordable housing and you will have problems with renters from time to time. A good place to buy if you are just starting out. That isn’t anywhere near downtown. Did you mean Rouses with the homeless encampment by the railroad tracks? That hasn’t been there in over a year. The city is proactive and ran them off. Nothing wrong with the area around the hospital. That is one of the only places with affordable housing in the area. That is where you would find your policeman and teacher types living or young families. St. Andrews is basically Gautier and who goes back there? It is basically the boondocks of OS/Gautier. Haven’t heard of any problems back there either. I do wish people from the undesirable cities like Gautier, Moss Point and Gulfport wouldn’t come over, but what can you do? Any issue we have had with shootings has been from the riff-raff of the surrounding cities coming over for the night. At least it has only been other riff-raff shot at this point and the one place the mayor shutdown immediately. Would you ever set foot in Kahunas? Be honest. What city do you live in on the coast?
Which part of Ocean Springs is sketch? I haven’t found it yet. The city is a utopia. Great schools, culture, food and low crime. I will say the city is growing a little too fast. Real estate costs are going up, but you get what you pay for and it keeps the riff-raff out. It is still relatively small based off the numbers below. The number probably higher than 17k now.

2010 census
edit
As of the 2010 census,[18][19] there were 17,442 people, 6,393 households, and 4,717 families residing within the city. The population density was 1,513.5 people per square mile. There were 7,814 housing units at an average density of 678.3 per square mile. The ethnic makeup of the city was 85.4% White, 7.4% African American, 0.40% Native American, 3.1% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 1.3% from other races, and 2.2% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.2% of the population.
Yes, he is our ace. Gabe has the best velocity of the 2, but he isn't the better pitcher.
