So the difference between first (public university, not Vandy) and last (LSU) is a mere $7K. Really not much in the grand scheme of things.

It is actually ~$12,000 in-state or ~$27,000 out of state.

LSU in state would be ~$48,000 cheaper than Oklahoma over 4 years, and over $100,000 cheaper than Texas for out of state.

Missouri has schools of Law, Medicine, Veterinary Med, Engineering, Ag Science, and a research reactor for isotope production all on one campus. Throw in the Trulaske College of Business and the J-School a you have a pretty solid value for instate students.

Damn, I can remember when in-state was less than $8000
