LSU added two starters from Arkansas in defensive backs Greg Brooks Jr. and Joe Foucha

The Tigers also picked up a pair of starters from Louisiana-Lafayette in cornerback Mekhi Garner and wide receiver Kyren Lacy.

The list of transfers is rounded out by a pair of specialists in Notre Dame punter Jay Bramblett and East Carolina long snapper Slade Roy.

The Tigers also added a standout offensive lineman in FCS All-American Tre’mond Shorts. Shorts started four years at East Tennessee State

West Weeks will add immediate help to the linebacker position after transferring from Virginia.

Your team lost to one of the worse South Carolina teams of all time two years ago and your calling out Kelly for losing to a playoff team.

1. ULL finished the '20 and '21 season ranked top 20. Two multi year starters both from LA that would have giver their left nut to be recruited by LSU in high school.

2. E Caroliana - deep snapper. Get them where you find them

3. FIU - Fr all american that was the highest rated OT in portal. Big position of need.

4. E TN - All american four year starter IOL. One of the highest rated in the portal. Big position of need.

Tigers didn't steal anyone. They were all just sittin there in the portal.

Be honest, does LSU have more wins or players who quit, err, opt out on the team this coming season?

Well they are warm bodies … you really think that roster is ready to take on and beat State? Much less Ole Miss, ATM, and Ark? Do you corn dogs ever look at the rosters of your opponents? Do you know what kind of OL you will have? RB? QB? Are those FCS defense players ready for the SEC?

Kelly is doing the right thing purging the roster, fumigating the locker room, but it is probably just typical spring euphoria to expect more than 6-7 next year. Saban’s first year at Alabama was pretty bad.

The ONE FCS player is an all american four year starting OLineman. He can play. Will he start? To be determined on the practice field.

Can't argue with that. You'd have to be real pussies not to play in your bowl game.

8-4 in 2022 would be a good start of LSU Football under BK when you consider the last 2 seasons' results.

That being said, I am predicting LSU will go 9-3 in 2022.

A bunch of 4*+ transfer out, a bunch of 3*+ transfer in. LSU Fans thinks it's lookin' good.

How would you rate her OP? 8? maybe 9? I bet she's lookin' good too!

Yea, reminds me of last year when LSU fans were gonna win it all because orgeron hired a "young" staff that could make changes on the fly or some bs

But to your point I can see where you'd be excited with transfers from mizzou and east Tennessee state or tech.
A lot these coaches on the staff came from 500 teams last year.

Stars don't really mean much especially in this instance.

Most of LSU's 4 stars who transferred out couldn't even get on the field because they just weren't that good.

Most of the 3 stars that were brought in were really good at lesser programs and could be decent players at LSU, for instance, one of the ULL corners was graded as the best corner in the country by PFF so he could be decent at the SEC level.

I mean Justin Jefferson and Clyde Edwards Helaire were also three stars.
