Remember when BK won a significant postseason game?
The narrative before the season was that Kelly never wins big games. So he wins 2 top 10 matchups and now the narrative has to shift.

Jealousy is a bad look..

Is anyone surprised by this?

Double digit dogs have never won if I read that right.

You obviously never heard of Perkins.

Two top 10s?

I'd jump all over 15 if I was a betting man. Easily a three plus score game. Not impossible, I have seen some crazy stuff this year.
I agree wasn’t the Alabama game -13 1/2 in Tiger Stadium? I am surprised it wasn’t in the 20’s.

The goal post never moved. Beating a 2-loss Bama team at home isn’t any more significant than some of his wins at ND. The question was always if he could win those Tier 1 games
If the shrimp boat captain could fall arse backwards into one of the top 5 greatest teams of all time with the the recruiting and resources at LSU you don’t think that was PRECISELY why BK wanted to come down here ?

Well we made it, in Kelly’s first year. So yeah…. Only going to get better.
Just like Gus at Auburn.

We are now yes, but in 07 we were not. It was a 2 team BCS. How many 2 loss Consensus NC have there been before or since?
It’s not a statement of worthiness for LSU 2022 in a 4 team playoff era, it’s a statement of the anomaly of 2007 in the BCS era

Your critique is that he has not won a title in the past, so he likely won’t win in the future. Complete nonsense. The only coach in the country who has won a title after winning a title at a prior school is Nick Saban.
He thinks he has some sort of big “gotcha” when the coach before BK that everyone in the SEC mocked and called “special Ed” put together one of the best teams of all time. But yea— no way a quality
Coach like BK (who was always hampered for resources and recruiting at Cincinnati and Notre Dame) could put together CFP level team
In a couple years.

But will he bring a national championship to LSU?
The arguments against O never winning one at LSU were better.

Somebody should research how many schools have won a NC with their last 3 coaches. I would think it’s a very very small amount. It’s almost like LSU has the resources and fertile recruiting grounds to be successful.

He'll have it by signing day 2023.

Over/under on all SEC players for LSU this year?
2 or 3
That alone makes the 2022 LSU team more talented than kirby's 2016 team.
UGA had 1 all SEC player on either the AP or Coaches lists (Isaiah McKenzie as specialist punt returner).
UGA had 1 player drafted in the spring 2017 NFL draft (early entry Isaiah McKenzie).
We had a bunch of juniors that needed a senior year to prove anything in 2016. I do compare the 2017 UGA team to the 2022 Tennessee team with all of the senior leadership in the roster.

They were when we played them.
Look, is it that hard to admit that LSU has had an incredible year 1 under a new coach in a rebuild?
Yeah, it's been ugly at times, but we also won the west, and watching the games I think it's about as honest of a team as it can be.
We're probably losing to Georgia in 3 weeks. Still doesn't change the fact that LSU made the right hire, and we're likely to be the favorite in the west more years than not over the next decade.
