I've been to both Tiger Stadium and Billy Brice, albeit several decades ago. Back then Billy Brice was the loudest by far. An interesting tidbit: Paul Ditzel was the home team head coach in both.

I've been to UGA games at LSU, USCe and Tenner. All three can get loud. You have to give it to USCe, for a program that's seldom in a position to win anything, their fans get loud. The loudest I've been to is LSU, followed by Tenner and USCe. The last two are probably a tie. Tenner fans definately boo the longest and loudest. And they boo at everthing whether they know what they're booing about or not.

Here are some vids from the 2009 OM vs SCAR game.

Absolute madhouse. Only team I've seen storm the field and tear down the goal posts after beating Ole Miss.

I'll match a sold out Egg Bowl in Starkville against the loudest stadiums in the nation....and I've been to sold out games at Tiger Stadium and Arrowhead Stadium.

Kenny Trill literally broke Spurrier.

Honestly I think a big part of it, at least when you are attending games, is if the noise is for your team or not. Like the Kick 6 I was going so nuts myself I have no idea or recollection of how loud it may have been. Whereas when I'm sitting quiet in another team's stadium miserable over what just happened to my team and taking it all in the noise sounds much louder.

No he didn't. That would be LSU.

They came into that season opener at #9 with high hopes. Trill threw a wet blanket on that and Spurrier never recovered.

Loudest stadium is Florida. Followed by Auburn and Texas A&M.

Never been to South Carolina, but McElroy and Hurts both said Fayetteville was the loudest stadium they played in.

Keep telling yourself that.

Spurrier never wanted to come back for that year. Looks at his comments about recruiting coming into that year. Ray Tanner talked him into coming back because he didn't want to hire a replacement of a HOF coach having been on the job less than 1 year. Spurrier did Ray a favor, but never wanted to coach that last year.

He recalled the first SEC Network game, which was Texas A&M against the Gamecocks in 2014, and he said, “It was so loud, I couldn’t hear myself talk at the coin toss.”

Why would you post any article where this game is mentioned?

I have been to night games at a number of stadiums. Night crowds are almost always louder than day crowds, imo. Fans have had all day to get lubricated up for the night event.

I went to a UGA/SC night game in Columbia some years back and it was loud, no doubt.

Probably the loudest game I have ever attended was a night game at Fla St when Bobby was coaching and that was a good FSU team.

Loudest I've ever heard Billy B was the Gamecocks chant and 2001 intro against UF in 2001. The Gameday crew for the pregame was laughing because they couldn't hear themselves talk.

Standing on the field VS standing in the stands is very difficult when discussing crowd noise. Stadium design and acoustics play a role as well.

The way DWRRS is setup can make it very very loud. But bad years and (no offense) a more Bama type environment make it spotty. If we’re good, you don’t really want to play there. If you’re Texas, you don’t want to be in our State.

Anyone who has been to huge games in multiple stadiums in this conference and thinks they can distinguish the noise levels is a moron. They all sound the same, really loud.

THIS.
I have been to South carolina and it was just as loud as Tiger Stadium or JHS. A&M is loud but I have been to Arkansas when it was just as loud. Hell, Kentucky a few years ago, 2013 I think, that place was shaking before kickoff. One's no better or worse than the other if its a big game.
