LSU has played 2 P5 schools, 1 G5 school and 1 FCS school, with pass defenses ranked 123rd, 122nd, 110th in FCS, and 128th.
I think I could be in Heisman contention with this schedule.

Is LSU's defense as young as Alabama's? I ask because I honestly don't know, not a troll attempt here.
LSU is very young at corner behind Fulton. Two true freshman are playing. They’ve also been without 3 of their top 4 defensive linemen since Texas, lost the starting free safety against NWST and lost the signal caller for the defense (maybe for the season) against Vandy.

Game at a time
Two weeks of it will be enough
Bigger games coming up against Fla and Auburn anyway

Can't recall seeing anyone claiming that we're going to beat bama. The majority know that's a tall order, but are optimistic that perhaps this year we'll score points so we have at least an outside shot.

I do bama isn’t stopping our offense. Ja’marr Chase and Justin Jefferson will have a field day against bama’s Dbs

But LSU’s offense against those teams didn’t skew the rankings right?

You don't know if your offense is more "potent" because plenty of teams in the past have called off the dogs early in games. Some intentionally used easier games to work on personnel or establish a new wrinkle or potentially fix an issue (like the running game).
Are you suggesting LSU hasn't done that?
Burrow has played less than 3 total games worth of time. We've sat starters for entire games to get young guys some action. For frick's sake, the entire offense is brand new. Is that not considered trying out new wrinkles? Seriously, guy. I can tell my post upset you because LSU broke Bama's 1 year record, but don't go off the rails making up some unique "context" about Bama and their cupcakes.
quote:
They played 3 P5 schools and 1 G5 school, with pass defenses ranked #40, #11, #111, and #98.
Well, we're talking about scoring. So it's
Bama: #128, #113, #54, and #47 (85.5)
LSU: #127, #122, #115, and #65 (107.25)
We'll let LSU's thrashing not count for 1/3 to 1/4 of the total scoring allowed before declaring our 4 significantly worse than Bama's from last year.
BTW, this year Bama has played #129, #112, #82, and #58. Offense slowing down, or has Saban become even more magnanimous in his old age?

We didn;t declare anything. Look at the record books and try to interpret what you are reading.

Auburn will knock most of them to the floor and Bama bitch slaps the rest into a corner and they become Georgia or wussy Clemson fans . . .
Until next year and it starts all over.

I really thought we could do it last year and was proven comically wrong. I am never picking LSU again until the streak gets broken. It's been 8 in a row.
More to the point, I am just not as obsessed or hyped about this game anymore and I hope our team is the same way. LSU is on the incline now and an obsessive focus on this one game likely hurts us more than it helps. From now on, we need to go balls to the wall Hugh Freeze style on them and hope to get the W.

Against 2 DII teams, big 12 defense, and Vandy
1. Georgia Southern isn't DII.
2. Hate all you want. I don't care. LSU could hang 50 points on Bama and Bamatards would say "we beat ourselves".
Kings of not respecting opponents.

Agree...you wont have the benefit of home field advantage this year

It’s actually pretty entertaining watching them talk about beating bama in September, losing to them, being sad about it for a few weeks, finishing the season somewhat strong, being somewhat humble during the summer, having one good game to start the season, and then them going full circle about beating bama again.
It’s a pretty funny cycle I Must admit
Are you talking about Georgia fans?

I see a lot of smack talk coming from a lot of LSU fans that you will beat Bama. Is this just a vocal few or do the majority of you also believe this?
To be honest, there is no way Bama can lose to LSU this year.
