Believe it or not, most LSU fans are fairly rational. Most of the BS comes from the vocal minority as seen on this board.

That being said....I believe it is possible, but i don't think it will happen if our defense doesn't get healthy and improve. As it stands today, it looks like Tua would feast. If the defense gets our studs back and healthy, i think we have a legit shot even in Tuscaloosa.

I am a big LSU fan, but I am also objective. We are not beating Bama or Auburn.

The way to beat LSU is keep Burrow off the field by winning time of possession with a balanced attack. LSU is a horrible tackling team and has no pass rush and is weak at stopping the run. Bama and Auburn are going to dominate the LSU defensive line.

The other thing you do is neutralize Burrow. Take away the running game and Burrow's bread and butter of crossing patterns over the middle. Good defensive coaches with talented players will be able to do this.

When its all said and done LSU fans will complain the refs screwed them again. The reality is this team rarely wins at the point of attack and Burrow is carrying them. Bama and Auburn will make Burrow look average.

I think this is the year. At some point LSU has to win, right? Right? Maybe? Eh... Probably not.

Let’s not. There is a lot of football to be played by both teams . If we are both undefeated in November then we can talk trash .

At what point in a streak should a fanbase give up?
There's a HUGE difference between giving up and running their cocksuckers about how they're gonna kick Bama's arse...it just make's y'all look foolish, like the poster is talking about.

It’s still September; they always think in September they will beat Bama.

With a Schembechler 1970s offense that attacks the strength of the opposing defense? Nah.

This year? I have no idea but it sure looks to be a much more competitive game.

Posters on a message board do not represent the vast majority of the fanbase.

Not gonna predict a win until we beat them again. Don’t hate our chances to compete this year though

Our D needs to improve.

If the D would just eliminate a few blown assignments (by the LBs) and open field tackle a little better (DBs) the perception would be totally different. The DL is playing pretty well.

IMO I think a lot of the missed assignments have come from Aranda experimenting with zone coverage. The communication between the LBs and CBs has not been good when they go into zone and they miss assignments that lead to big plays for the other team. When they get it right, there are no issues. They will have to get it right for Auburn, Florida and Bama.

In the context of real life vs a message board full of angry trolls like yourself, there really is no difference. People will continue to talk shite because it clearly makes you so damn mad.

Absolutely. Until we beat bama, I will never say going into a game we will win. I do think we have an offense that can put points on them, but not sure we can stop them. Crazy to think we may have a shoot out. No defensive battle, 9-6 type game this time around.

Let's not, because both teams have a lot of football to play between now and then.

I don't see LSU winning. Bama's D is young and makes mistakes, but I think they are still in the top three SEC ranking in D stats. Vandy scoring like they did on LSU should be a red flag.

LSU needs to improve on defense but anyone that doesn't understand how this matchup will be different this year has no clue what they are talking about
